Nando's Rosny Park — Restaurant in Hobart

I had a truly disappointing experience at Nando's recently that I feel compelled to share. My friends and I traveled all the way from Burnie, excited to enjoy a meal together. Unfortunately, this was the second time we encountered issues at this location.

Despite arriving at 8:45 PM, with the restaurant closing at 10 PM, we were informed that they wouldn't serve us. It’s disheartening to think about why they would open if they’re not willing to accommodate customers so close to closing time.

We were a group of eight, and after being seated, we were told that they had run out of chicken. I expressed our frustration, mentioning that we had traveled specifically for this meal. In contrast, the staff at Nando's in North Hobart have always been welcoming, even when we arrived just a minute before closing.

The response we received was that they were quiet and therefore wouldn’t cook any chicken. This just feels like an inadequate excuse for turning away customers. It's disappointing to see such a lack of hospitality and service at the Rosny location. I hope they can improve their approach to customer service...

Under new management now i have got real taste of Nandos. I wrote it 2 years back. (I was so happy that they got new managment and started serving good quality Nandos foods.)

However, today again I had worst experience.

Today I had worst experience, December 22, 2021. I ordered a whole chicken and, surprisingly, we received our hot chicken in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, it was soggy. When we asked them to replace it, their manager/supervisor came over and stated that they had just made it two hours prior, and I asked him to make a new one. He instructed us to wait 15 minutes before serving the chicken. I was taken aback and didn't say anything to him. As you can see, they presented the same dishes to both of us. Nandos Rosny, in my opinion, is not capable of maintaining Nandos quality, and they do not care about their consumers. If Nando's management truly wants to know the truth, they should look into it. Rather disappointed today.

Came in and there there were two people in the place, yet every table bar one had plates.

Ordered from the sticky menus.

Chicken was nice but tomatoes had stems and the sourdough bread you normally get with the expensive one was replaced by bulk white hamburger buns.

All of the glasses for water were dirty with sticky marks on them... Looked like they hadn't been washed. Had to ask for clean glasses and even they were barely washed.

Tables nearby cleared but not wiped before others sat down.

Looked up and found handprints on the ceiling.
