Zarraffa's Coffee Booval — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Not too impressed with this place at all…

Ordered a creme caramel fusion that had barely any whipped cream or caramel drizzle on it. Also ordered the mighty cheese ciabatta and the whole thing was burnt and looks nothing like the picture on the app.

Another thing was the customer service was pretty bad, I don’t normally say that about places to judge but this was just terrible! I have a membership with Zarraffas and once ordering I said if I could scan my card and she looked at me rolled her eyes and proceeded to walk away from me. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or something but that was just plain rude of her.

We waited for a short time for the food and drinks was fine, but there was plenty of other customers in the store at the time and they put our food up on the bench without telling anyone which food/drinks was for who. How are we supposed to guess who has those items if they don’t even tell us the food/drinks are ready and what they are, and they’re sitting there for 5 mins?

Overall not too happy with this place and definitely would be taking myself to Redbank from now on where the service is so much more friendly...

I have gone to this Zarraffa's many times and there have been a few times lately where the staff has been just plain rude. Today, the young girl taking payment at the first window couldn't be bothered, had an annoyed tone, didn't even look at me and once I paid, said 'ok, you can go', I was going to say something at the next window about her poor customer service, and the ladies there DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT ME ONCE, even though I paused and waited after getting my order. I get that you are busy, I have worked in busy customer service environments for over 20 yrs. It's not that hard to at least be friendly. Try working the same job in another country where you get treated worse and paid WAY less. People take for granted have good we have it here in Australia. You should be grateful and not treat customers...

I visited this cafe a lot and I walked in this time and man, what a disorganised service I had. I ordered 2 drinks and a vege zed, there were 3 people waiting at the pick up and no one! Knew what was what, they just put it there and yell it out..... you guys need to ask for names for the orders it's ridiculous. I saw my vege zed and 1 of my 2 drinks there and with the loud music you can't hear at all. Especially when they yell what the name was and you guys expect we know what that is, their is alot of weird names on that menu, so I recommend names for orders.
