Fantastic pizza! The variety is endless and caters for all tastes however I can't go past the Italian as being the closest I've come to an authentic Italian pizza. The flavours beautifully compliment the fresh base and Liezel's own special pizza sauce recipe is delicious. Just the right amount of FRESH toppings too. Kapunda Pizza Bar is a great employer of many young local kids who are getting their first taste of after school work so please be patient..... we were all in their shoes once. I've always found the staff to be super friendly. It can get busy (a testament to their popularity) so ordering ahead does help. A great supporter of many local clubs and charities so spend with those that support the town. Would love to see them stay open a little longer on Friday and Saturday nights...perhaps til 10pm. Ordered 1 large pizza and garlic bread told it would be an hour wait which we thought was a little excessive but decided we'd visit friends while we waited. 1 hour and 15 minutes went by and we went back to get told it would be another 25 minutes. In hindsight we should've cancelled it. Go back after 25 minutes and still waited another 5 minutes. So in total we waited an hour and 45 minutes for 1 pizza and garlic bread. Passing through town, the only shop open other than the pub late in the arvo, was the kapunda pizza and all foods in-between. Expecting some wholesome country generosity and flavours, we were greeted with much friendliness.
