I was impressed with the gluten free brownie - to die for and must go back for another! Request from the cafe — have your cinnamon rolls on weekdays too, I would have loved to try! #1 sausage roll in W.A. Discovered this place when calling into Katanning for a bite to eat. All home cooked food, and very, very tasty. Don't stay on Albany Hwy, take a detour and call into Katanning for a bite to eat here, well worth the effort. They close at 1pm when we visited, so not suitable for a late snack.

I was in Katanning for work and became a (very) regular customer to Emu lane. Missing the pies & the happy/friendly crew

The staff are nice but the pies are undercooked. Not the filling, the filling is beautiful! But the pastry at the bottom, gross. Getting the soggy bottom pie out of the foil base you actually need a spoon rather than wear it. Tried their sausage rolls last week and they’re awesome so was a little underwhelmed...
