I came in last night to order for my partner and myself as I do every other Friday . Leaving 4 young people to run a store on a busy night is so unprofessional. Every other Friday I’ve come in they are typically well staffed, but I’ve noticed over the past few weeks to a month They have been extremely understaffed. I asked the kind of gothic girl who was serving me what was going on and if there was a manager I could talk to, (they were super busy, clearly overwhelmed and id been waiting to just order our food for 15 minutes.) She then told me that there wasn’t a manager in at that moment but she was happy to help me but I wanted to talk to who runs this store and ask what the hell is going on. A couple of people were behind me talking about how they would hate to work at place like that and honestly I couldn’t agree more. Other people in line were getting impatient with the workers which I understand but the whole time the workers just kept a smile on their face and greeted everyone politely even with how busy they were.

Read moreI don’t know why companies offer online services when their team is not fast and furious for making orders on time. I been to zambrero kelmscott and i think this was my first and last visit there. I was coming from Belmont and made order online so i can pickup asap. When I entered there was only two customers who were giving theur order and the another third one was also waiting for his doordash order from last 15-20 minutes. I was standing there so they can serve their customers properly. Then i showed my pickup order number to that so called Chinese girl and she started looking on the ipad or something like that. She went inside and said sorry we couldn’t process your order as i forgot to put our device on charging. It was 25 minutes already. I said what you didn’t make it ??? And she started yelling on me. Then the another white girl with a boy cut started taking my order on a serviette. The chinese girl started talking about her position that she is a manager…. So if you are manager please start speaking properly and learn how to manage okay ????? Maybe i am on a higher position than you!!! I am always all alone on my workplace and manage everything. On Wednesday, I placed an order through the Zambrero app, as I regularly do. My partner and I always order the same: a regular chicken and lamb burrito. However, when I got home after picking up the order, I noticed that I was served a small burrito instead of the regular size I always receive. We were both exhausted from work that day and didn’t realize until we got home.
I immediately called the restaurant, and they apologized, explaining that they had reduced the portion sizes. They offered me a free replacement meal if I came back to the store, which I agreed to. The next day (17/09/2024, 6:30 PM), I went to the store to collect my order. To my disappointment, the supervisor rudely informed me that they don’t give out free meals and that the reduction in size and quality was a recent decision (within less than 24 hours by the owner or manager.
The supervisor was dismissive and showed no care for customer service. When I mentioned that I had driven 17 minutes to the store, she simply said it wasn’t her problem and even shut the door in my face mid-conversation.
