This place would be a 5-star if it was slightly more reasonably priced, especially the $4.50 cans of coke, or threw in a small batch of fries or something. The guys working the register are always kind and happy to be doing what it is they do. Today's attendant was so kind and helpful and gave me honest recommendations that proved valuable for a fantastic burger (meal). Thank you 🙏 because it was a long day by that point in the afternoon.
Actually, the motivation for posting this review is the fact that they were open and in business to make money. As an American, it's a shock to see the business in Australia give up after lunchtime and give some excuses why they can't do something. This place is beside an American company, Subway (that likes money), along with the other American joints that state their menu and hours and deliver, unlike most Australian businesses I've experienced so far. I'm sure many would counter why they can't do something but Worst Burger follows through and delivers on a d@mn good burger, and even had coffee ☕ after 3pm as they stated. 💕 Many Aussie businesses literally have coffee listed on their signage but stop selling around 3. I'm sure they would say it's this reason or that but I would say it's laziness and a lack of understanding why the business is even there to begin with.
I thought Worst Burger was a gimmick, because of the name, but it's a great product and I would recommend. They even had professional appealing packaging. I personally wouldn't recommend getting a drink from there unless you're in the mood for an afternoon coffee. I would recommend spending money at this business that's there to make money by offering a good product...
Read moreDidn’t hit the best night to go as it was cold and raining. We were a group of x6 adults and sat at x3 tables pushed together right at the front of the Store. It’s a lovely setup-up with tables, chairs and umbrellas on the sidewalk, with a few tables and chairs closer to the front of Store. We had a fairly big order with burgers, chips, drinks plus extras ordered. Menu is pretty specific and easy to read. We didn’t have long to wait as we were the only people sitting down. Most of the order came out in one hit. It reminded me of what the American Burger places you see advertised serve you. Burgers busting at the seams. Chips oozing with gravy/cheese with a no-holds bar on your cholesterol! But… these weren’t overly oily and definitely were exactly what you ordered so no surprises. Vegetarians were catered for in our group (happily). Some of the food was on the ‘cooler’ side. This could have been because it was a very cold night and the food ended up cold quite quickly but that’s no one’s fault. Service was exceptional from the young staff but that’s usually what Kingy is good at providing. Only bit of advice would be a few chair pads for the flat stools we had to sit on. Would have made the visit a little more...
Read moreEvery single time the order's wrong! This time i thought we would come try out the new one at kingscliff. I went to the counter and asked if wrap numer 1 only has whats stated. No it also has sause. ( not on menu) no sause thanks. It arrives filled with chips!! Again not mentioned on the menu. Take it back and get told to "relax its sunday" A few mins pass and he drops off new wrap. Calls me rude and all the people agree as well. . He then continues to tell me how difficult I am. Well if you have a menu. Actually make AS DESCRIBED.. he has told me to expect a response as he rudly looked over my shoulder read my phone, and saw i was on google. .. mate you blew up like a madman! Now wouldn't you think if a customer asks does it come as stated? Makes it clear that is all thats wanted you'd have the brains not to as you put it. " oh we throw chips in there" Its also the dearest service chage anywhere on a Sunday.. buy hey I'm rude for expecting whats actually on the damn menu. Now as promised lets hear his outraged response. Couldn't care less, you must be the absolutely worst business owner around. Even my dad had to tell tmyou to...
