Kimberley grande is a sports bar with a side room that has some big group tables for dining. On our visit there wasn’t any background music playing so it was just very bright fluorescent lighting and the noise of other tables eating. It’s also dressed up to look like an italian restaurant but once you see the menu you’ll know it’s mainly parmas, a couple of pasta dishes and Korean fried chicken.
There was one vegetarian main meal option, the goats cheese and beetroot risotto, which was ok. While they have pizza oven they don’t make pizzas anymore.

Strongly regret spending $26 on a handful of pasta with absolutely no flavour- just a bunch of cherry tomatoes with nap sauce and cheese. No love. Partners parmi was ok but his chips were cold, kids aoili was very watered down.

Friendly Maori girl and new bar manager is personable. Quality food so don't be put off by menu prices or slow service as these guys are struggling to find staff and probably only have tourism demand for 6 months of the year.
