If you find yourself in Kununurra, make sure to stop by the Kimberley Bakery—an absolute must that should not be missed! This bakery boasts an impressive selection of cakes, pies, and an array of sandwiches and rolls. They have seating inside, making it a perfect spot to relax out of the heat and enjoy a cup of coffee or a killer milkshake. The bakery does get busy, but that’s a testament to its popularity. During my five or so visits, I noticed a steady stream of customers, all eager to enjoy the offerings. Don’t let the location deter you; those in the know are making the trip from the town center for a reason! My personal favorites include the curry pies, which are bursting with flavor, and the fresh beef and salad sandwiches that are simply unbeatable. And let’s not forget the vanilla slice—an absolute must-try! What truly sets Kimberley Bakery apart is the outstanding service. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff remains friendly, welcoming, and engaging while you wait to be served. In conclusion, whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend making a stop at Kimberley Bakery. With their incredible pies, sandwiches, and fresh baked goods, you won’t be disappointed. I know I’ll be back every chance I get!

We visited for lunch, unfortunately our visit wasn’t the greatest. We chose a few sandwiches from the fridge one which was labelled Ham and Cheese for my daughter who is anaphylactic to eggs and nuts. We paid for everything, I then turn over the Ham and Cheese box to see that it had Mayo (Mayo contains egg) in it. I made the girl aware that there was mayo in it, though it was not labelled with mayo and she just shrugged her shoulders, I asked if they could make a fresh one using butter, she looked over at the bench and I was told not right now we are too busy, I was not offered a refund and was made to feel rushed out the door. If I had not noticed the Mayo my daughter would have eaten the sandwich and then had an anaphylactic reaction. So please make sure your packaging is labelling correctly. On a positive note, the coffee was great.

This is a very nice bakery with a good selection of cakes and pies, it also has a range of bread & bread rolls, but we have not got that far yet, although others tell me they are very good. There is seating inside and their coffee is vey nice. Cost wise they are pretty good, morning tea for two under twenty dollars. Today was a jam and cream donut for one of us and a muffin looking croissant with apple in it for the other. Both were very nice. It does get busy at times, on the 3 times we have been there, there are people in and out all the time. Do get put off by it’s location, people that know it are making the trip from the centre of town.

Pizzas were eatable but not memorable.

Pastries were nice and the carrot cake was awesome. Yet almost everything was derty and not well maintained. On a personal note the office within the service are was detrimental for the environment.

Glen and his family seemed to be kind people, yet due to the high stress levels of/and the high work loads they experienced, they were or are unable to a higher extend to treat the people that are working for them in a professional manner.

I recommend Glen to exercise some more patients and for Callum to improve in the way he sometimes communicates verbally to some employees. Management was lacking, everything was confusing with no clear instructions and the learning process was negative, Glen did not have any...
