Cafe Next Door / CD Centre — Restaurant in Launceston

The "cafe" itself, at this otherwise lovely little place, has rude staff with no social skills. I had pumpkin soup with a hair on the side. When I let the staff know, I was (amazingly) ignored and after I stood my ground for a time, I was finally asked by one of the staff, " what do you want me to do about it " I replied, " normally I would have my money returned under such circumstances. " She begrudgingly handed me my refund, and skulked back to the corner to her equally socially inept friend, where I could imagine they secretly planned my immediate assassination.

As for the gift side of Cafe Next Door, it is a delightful place to visit with (thankfully), lovely, obliging and gracious staff and a great array of gifts, cd's. vinyl...
