Great customer service by the young lass who tended to us today, friendly, efficient and very fast preparing our orders. I had a huge latte and a custard filled iced donut, $11.00, and later, a Classic Dog (hotdog with bacon & onion & your choice of a variety of sauces), which was extremely filling and only $8.50. I noticed the All Day Deals, coffee, hotdog or toasted sandwich and 2 Cinnamon Donuts was only $12.00 (will take advantage of this great deal next time). We ate in the dining area, which was quiet, comfortable and relaxing, without any pressure whatsoever for further purchases or to leave (we were there chatting for close to two hours!) Food was nice, but establishment are sneaky about EFTPOS surcharge. Indication of surcharge is written in 14pt font on back wall but is impossible to read. When about to pay, server indicates it would be 7.70 not changing amount for surcharge. They grab my card as we are not allowed to tap our own card. After payment while waiting I noticed the surcharge and asked why they never disclosed actual amount before payment, she was rude and accusatory as though I was is in the wrong for questioning why the charge was so.. Went to get a thick shake & iced coffee on Sat afternoon at 3.45. Was promptly told by two staff members that they wouldn't make them because , they would then have to cleanup afterwards. I was told I can have a donut, to which I replied ,I don't want a donut ,I want a drink!
