I keep hoping to have a good experience here but am unfortunately always disappointed! Had breakfast over the weekend with mum and ordered the âCheesy HashbrownsââŠ.no idea how they came up with that name because they were actually potato balls (no cheese) put on a slab of bacon and poached eggs. Let me tell you, the serving was TINY for paying $22. My mouth literally dropped to the floor when it was placed in front of me.
My mum ordered the pancakes and they gave her no maple syrup so they were dry as anything. She also ordered the berry smoothie and for someone who has daily smoothiesâŠshe was inherently disappointed with this one and actually couldnât get a quarter of the way through without stating she didnât like it.
Beyond overpriced for terrible food. It was the first time in a while where I actually left the restaurant afterwards feeling ill tooâŠbut matters for another...

Customer service was friendly, polite, and well-mannered, but there were some missing elementsâsuch as not providing table waterâwhich made the experience feel incomplete. I would also note that the cafĂ© isnât kid-friendly.
Thereâs a strict âtime limitâ policy for those only having coffee and snacks, which is understandable given the tiny, cramped space filled with as many tables as possible to maximize turnover. However, it does make the atmosphere feel rushed and uncomfortable.
As for the food, the haloumi was disappointing, with undercooked âpoached eggsâ that were overcooked. The arancini balls lacked flavor and came in very small portions, leaving them underwhelming.
All in all, while service was pleasant, the food quality and overall experience didnât live up to...
Read moreMy favourite cafe on our trip through Launceston! Great value for money and lovely staff! I ordered the Pesto Eggs (sourdough, poached eggs, basil pesto, feta, tomato, spinach and balsamic glaze) with an iced latte + almond milk. $19 for brekky and $5.50 for the latte (50c extra for almond milk). My partner had the Bacon and Eggs which was only $16 and his iced coffe was around $5 too. We both left happy and satisfied. Definitely a hearty portion for the price as most places we've visited would charge $20+ for this type of meal. The staff member who made our drinks was very helpful and even gave us a small jug of extra cold brew to adjust the strength/ flavour if we wished. Can't fault this place! Cool little shop with unique items as well. Definitely would revisit and highly...
