Papa's Rich Noodles - Leongatha — Restaurant in Leongatha

Partner and I were driving through leongatha from Wilson’s prom and stopped for dinner here.

I got the combination meat with the fried rice. I’m not normally a fussy eater, but this was the WORST Chinese food I had ever had. The combination meat was so salty and inedible, and the fried rice tasted like it was microwaved as the egg was overcooked and inedible. My partner who would normally have boiled potatoes couldn’t even eat it.

He got the satay noodles which was much better, so not sure why the combination meat with fried rice was so bad. Value for money otherwise seemed quite good, but the inedible food really ruined...

Absolutely , some of the best Asian food I have had. Have visited many a time before and was thrilled to see they were open this afternoon when I was in Leongatha so ordered the special fried rice with Prawns and Satay Prawns with vegetables... a meal to celebrate the new year coming in. A misunderstanding with my order initially but they sorted that out without an issue. Fast service, friendly and professional service . Worst lemon chicken I've ever had (80% deep fried batter, 20% chicken) doused in fake bottled lemon sauce. Must avoid! Do not order Thai beef salad if you expect an actual salad or actual fresh beef pieces like you might have in Thailand. Ours was deep fried pieces of beef which didn't taste even like a shred of beef on a bed of shaved onions and carrots + 3 pieces of cucumber. No papaya or tomato found as per menu.
