FOREST Lismore — Restaurant in Lismore

They say good things come in small packages and with Forest Lismore this could not be more astute. This is a very small unassuming place but the food packs a punch. I visited with 6 friends for dinner and service was friendly from the get go. We had BYO and as it was a very hot humid day the cafe were kind enough to store this in the fridge and provided frosty cold glasses for us when we needed them. My friends and I ordered a variety of food including Kim Chi Dumplings, Korean Fried Chicken, Cauliplant, Bulgogi, Spicy Pork Dal Galbi, and Bibimbap. All the portions were good, not too big not to small, flavours were delicious and packed with healthy vegetables and proteins and not one of us left any food. Our plates were cleared. The standouts are the Korean Fried Chicken. Crunchy, juicy and not at all greasy. The Kim Chi dumplings were packed full of flavour and perfectly cooked. My partner and I had a delicious breakfast here in May 2024. I ordered a small cappuccino and the Chicken Katsu Sanga - it was the best coffee I have had and the sandwich was beautiful and very well cooked. My partner ordered a large flat white on oat milk and the eggs benny dish. He said it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food.
