Haha Sushi Hyperdome — Restaurant in Logan City

As of June 2022, I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star... I'm pretty sure the onwers have changed from the beautiful couple that used to run it when it was rught in front of the Big W...

The sushi is no longer any where close to what it was, the crispy chicken was so chewy my son couldn't bite into it, the sushi rice would crumble as you took a bite and the whole sushi would end up every where, even the flavour has changed and they don't use a decent quality wrapper it is like sand paper not soft and edible at all...

And the service was horrible, I try my best not to write negative reviews because I understand it's not easy to run a business in these times but that's not an excuse to drop your standards so badly... while trying to decide my sushi selections I was told twice by the older staff member to hurry up because I was holding up the line mean while I was getting almost $80 worth of sushi... I won't go back there anymore!!!

PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM 2019 I've been getting my sushi from these guys for the last couple of years and I would have to say they have one of the nicest sushi's around...

My son has loved their steamed chicken dim sims they are the best especially if you get them as they are coming out of...

Food was tasty however the service is incredibly slow. 2 people in front of me ordered sushi which is supposed to be a quick grab from the fridge, took 10 minutes before I got served. Then I ordered a karage chicken with rice, easy enough premade karage on top of premade rice with Mayo took another 5 minutes. All employees working very slowly in the kitchen, total 15 minute past and then my meal break was over. I decided to have a quick bite but bottom of bowl was dirty and got all over my clothes.

Food was tasty though, but slow service and got my clothes dirty. I do not want to spend my whole lunch break waiting...

Honestly I’m not a sushi lover but last week, I said to myself why not give it a go. So I ordered crispy chicken & chicken avo. For almost 7 dollar I’m already full, and all I can say is that their sushis are very yunmy and I really love the smell of the seaweed, makes me want to order some more. And they have the best service so far, fast service despite being busy around lunchtime. The business manages to keep the queue moving and match the customers with their order correctly. The ladies are very friendly and nice. I will surely recommend this shop to...
