At 04:01 this morning, I picked up two delivery orders worth a total of $17, heading to McDonald’s in Logan Central — a 17-minute drive each way. When I got there, a staff member canceled one of the orders without warning, leaving me with only a $5 order to deliver. I didn’t argue. I just thought, “Fine. I’ll grab a burger for myself and move on.” But when I tried to place an order for my own meal, a staff member stopped me, saying, “Delivery drivers aren’t allowed to buy food while working.” As if being a delivery person means I’m not a real customer and don’t even deserve to order food. So after driving for over 30 minutes, I was left with just $5 to show for my effort, and I couldn’t even buy myself a meal. Feeling disrespected and frustrated, I decided to cancel the only remaining order. Immediately, the female manager and a male staff member started scolding me, saying I shouldn't make customers wait just because I was hungry. But let me ask: • Did anyone think about the cost of fuel I used to get there? • Did anyone care that my pay was suddenly cut by two-thirds, with no warning? • Is it really fair to cancel my work, refuse to let me buy food, and treat me like I don’t even deserve a meal? Delivery drivers are people and deserve basic respect. How would you feel if your boss suddenly slashed your wage from $17 to $5 — would you still be motivated to work? When I asked for their names to lodge a complaint, nobody was willing to provide them. Maybe they knew how unfair the situation was. For the record, Uber approved my order cancellation — they agreed what happened was unreasonable.
At 05:12, I called Uber Help to double confirm whether delivery partners are allowed to purchase their own food during deliveries. Uber clearly stated that this is absolutely allowed, and as a delivery partner, my point of contact is Uber—not the restaurant. I am not required to follow unreasonable demands made by restaurant staff.
Could McDonald’s please explain why such discriminatory rules are being invented? This statement was made by the store manager, which raises a serious concern: Is McDonald’s officially endorsing discrimination against...
Read moreWe have been here many times and each time we endure another bad experience we tell ourselves we will not be back! But unfortunately being our local Mcdonalds we find our self giving them more chances. 9/10 times our order is missing an item or several ingredients, be it something extra that we have paid for or just the usual ingredients they SHOULD know by now goes on the burger. It can be very frustrating when you go in and complain there is no apology, and no one takes ownership of the mistake. Nothing worse than getting home after going through the drive through and you are missing ingredients and or items that were paid for... you need to call up, have an argument where they don't believe you and don't care, drive back to store and get home and have a cold meal because of their continual mistakes. Like OMG how many times do they need to get it so wrong in a row?! Where is a store manager that cares? Says he will call us to help take our complaint further but of course conveniently forgets/doesn't = a extremely disgruntled, unsatisfied, pissed off customer!
Whether we are entering the premises in our car or sitting and eating there, we without fail have the same 10 year old kid asking all the customers coming and going for money! Day or night, we see him just about every time, and the staff don't seem to care that he is making so many customers feel uncomfortable, put off and extremely awkward.
Despite our continual string of disappointments the Mc Café section is good and the only good thing about this horrible place. This is one of the reasons why people think Logan Central is so bad... places like this help set that lack of...
Read moreI lost count honestly of how many times they never got my order right (items were missing) and I had to come back later to receive them. This one time they refused to give me my missing items hash brown with my hotcake meal x2. (Like I’m about to vlog a video called what they forgot today. And how much I spent this is hilariously not funny at all pray 🙏🏾 for your shop jokes)Other shops have much more greater quality of service where your money is totally worth the price and services I would expect higher quality of service if I spent over $50 regularly. “I don’t care how busy it gets the order should be right the first time” My order was large chicken nuggets with apple juice, 2 hotcakes medium meals includs hash browns with cappuccino, and 2 big brekky burger. Missing items were apple juice, no syrup, no butter, no fork and knifes, no chicken nuggets, no sweet and sour sauce, no hash brown. The real inconvenience is driving away 10mins - 1hour away from the McDonald shop and then realising that the items are missing, then my child throwing a tantrum because there is no sweet and sour sauce, me eating my hotcakes with my hands no knife and fork (plain) no butter no syrup) Driving back wasting my time and fuel. Son food getting cold by then. and then the following day getting frustrated all over again because they forgot something else on the new order smh 🤯 I’d recommend going somewhere...
