This is a good position for this particular Yiros shop with other take away/fast food options options as well as the main shopping centre across the street. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating/booths and space and is generally quite clean. There is also a lot of seating outside as well.
My husband and I only went here for the Greek donuts which we loooove 😍lol Such small, but tasty bites of deliciousness! We have tried a few different flavours but generally stick with the cinnamon flavour, but also like the honey flavour as well. We always buy a coffee too which for a small latte was only $2.50!!! I know, I'd go here just for the price of the coffee you say! And it was pretty good for the price too👌We've also had a snack on their fries too, which we thought were quite tasty as well. Next time we visit we would like to try one of their yirros combo meals. The only bad experience we've had is when we go through the drive thru. you have to keep repeating yourself like 5 or 6 times, so the operator can hear you and understand you. They keep saying 'can you repeat that please'. It is very very frustrating and soooo annoying. Something def needs to be done about that. Also, they stop making coffee at 8pm on a Saturday night?? They are basically open until 10pm, so they could at least push it back to 8.30pm or 9pm. I was very disappointed and annoyed when I rocked thru the drive thru on a Saturday night and it was 8.01pm or 8.02pm, and they said, 'sorry no coffee after 8pm'. I did think that was ridiculous. There is parking available, but there is not lot when it gets busy. There are other fast-food stores in the complex, so it's basically shared parking. You may need to park across the road in the shopping centre car park. Note: I would have given an overall score of #5, but the 8pm coffee shut down took...
Read more9th December 2024 So today was my secondary test run, and this time I ordered through the app my usual order. $9.95 for the snack pack and drink, first. Then the $7 for the Tzaki and Pita bread. Total of $16.95 Food was great, so I'm very glad to say it was just a faulty order the first time.
2ed December 2024 Its my first time going to this one in Beenleigh, and I am very under whelmed. The food was as good as Southbanks, so no problem there. The food is great! 10/10 But the problem came with the price and my order. I attempted to order at the counter a large chicken snack pack and the Tzaki Pitta bread, my usual order.
Its first came to $19.60, which sounded a bit cheep given I'd ordered a large today but okay. So I get my bag, and leave. I just check it in the car, and it's only the snack pack. I go back in and I enquire about it, to which im told I didn't order the the Tzatziki Dip. Weird, but okay. I have to pay another $7 for it. Total: $26.60
So I get home to eat it, take a bite of my snack pack and pause. It has a weird taste I recognise. Its not necessarily bad, but not what I ordered. And it's about bite 5 I realise what's happened. When I said I wanted the Tzatziki Dip, the woman had put it ON my snack pack as an extra sauce. Not as the Pitta bread dip I wanted.
So it cost me $10 more price wise for a faulty order, with no drink ordering on counter. I'm going to wait before I post this, cause I'm hoping it was just an...
Read moreThe first impression of any establishment is the person that greets you. Whilst the guy working at the front had a suggestion of what to eat, every part of the experience felt like he couldn't wait to move you along. He was quiet abrupt, and failed to explain that a large Yiros (which is a $6 difference from the regular) is the same size bread but with double meet. My friends had regular size Yiros', yet, theirs looked exactly the same in the amount of meat as mine. In fact they looked larger. A Yiros that costs $19.90 you would think it would be substantial but it was lacklustre at best. I will note that the quality of the ingredients themselves was good though.
On the note of the rudeness of the guy working at the till - he came out again as I made another transaction to get a drink and my payment on the eftpos disn't process properly, my friend asked him after I made the payment, "did the payment go through properly" and instead of taking time to respond he starts walking away and says under his breath, "I don't understand."
People working at the till, represent your business, they should be warm, friendly, and outgoing. Not rude, abrupt, and nonchalant.
Please do better, as the whole experience could have been completely different, with better...
