I stopped by Cafe 63 in Beenleigh for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The first thing that hits you is the size of the menu—absolutely massive! You could come here every day for weeks and still not try everything. I went with the eggs benedict and a flat white, and both were tasty, freshly made, and reasonably priced. Presentation was on point, too.
The staff were friendly and attentive, even during a mid-morning rush. Service was efficient without feeling rushed, which I appreciated. The vibe is relaxed, with plenty of seating and space to settle in, whether you’re catching up with friends or grabbing a solo bite. Being inside the Beenleigh Marketplace, it’s also air-conditioned—perfect on a hot Queensland day.
That said, the menu does seem to rely on a lot of repeated ingredients. I noticed macadamia nuts are in a lot of the dishes, which might be tricky for anyone with allergies. Some of the menu items also feel a bit too similar—different names but basically the same thing. Still, the variety is nice to have.
One small letdown: I ordered French toast on a separate visit, and it came out a little soggy. Not a dealbreaker, but not as good as the first time.
Overall, Cafe 63 Beenleigh is a solid spot for a casual breakfast or lunch. It’s affordable, the portions are generous, and the service is consistently good. Would definitely come back, especially when I want something quick and easy with lots of choice.

Read moreThis review is not meant to deter people from this cafe/restaurant, this review is more so for staff members. Maybe some further training is needed in customer service? I have been here multiple times before, service has not been great but not terrible on other occasions and the food has been lovely and well priced. However, on this one particular day, i hyped myself up, really looked forward to the food etc here and i was served with a lady slamming down a bottle of water on my table, she didnt even say hello, just slammed the bottle down and quickly walked away, and then i sat for over twenty minutes waiting for my order to be taken and in the end having to go up to the counter to order my food. I ordered scrambled egg on toast and the waitress didnt even ask what kind of bread i wanted (not a problem, i was happy with what i received) however, i must point out that the scrambled egg didnt have much flavour and i had to pack on the salt in order for it to taste good. When i sat down after ordering said food, a waitress finally decides to come to my table to ask what i would like. I might add as well that it was not busy on this day. As said before, this is not aimed at customers, but more so at the restaurant. Just want to let you know that a smile wouldnt hurt anyone. Thank you for your time in reading...
Read moreA disappointing visit. I have been to a few Cafe 63's but this visit rated so low. We ordered 2 steak meals. 1 steak smelt as though it was off. It had that dead meat smell.
Now under normal circumstances when you report that there is an issue with the meal like this, you get a manager visit your table straight away.
This time, the server didn't bother to tell management, and we actually had to tell the server that we no longer wanted the meal for my wife.
When we went to the counter, we managed to speak to a manager, who appeared genuinely shocked about the whole thing. But never offered us any retribution or a free cost of our entire meal, in fact still charged us for everything else. No offer of a freebie on the next visit, just a simple sorry it happened.
Now I realise that there is no obligation to offer freebies etc, but the fact that nothing was offered only means that unfortunately for Cafe63 we won't be back.
Again very disappointing as even prior to our visit we were talking about supporting local business. This more than left a bad taste...
