Ni Hao. Me and the family always tuck into the chinese on a saturdy night and when we were staying the night it was no different. I'm going to get straight to the point, I ordered $50 worth of prawn chips and by my standards the amount I got would have only amounted to about $20 at best, extremely dissapointed. Chazza ordered 3 large fried rice without shrimp and egg and it came out lovely, the sweet and sour sauce though was not up to my standards! The sweet and sour sauce is a major component in my Chinese meals, not happy jan! The kids got the usual prawn toast, sweet and sour pork and peking duck, they weren't that hungry that night. I was glad I bought a couple long necks from the bottle-O before entering as the store was BYO (THIS WAS GREAT). This fantastic outback Family owned Chinese Restaurant is very old school, but in the most wonderful way.

Janice, Simon and the entire family have been in this great community forever and the homestyle cooked Chinese cuisine is to die for in Longreach.

The locals absolutely love and swear by it and now I'm a lover of it that I'm going back tomorrow night again. OMG the sizzling steak and how tender the beef strips are, melt in your mouth.

The chicken chop suey, yummy and the steam wontons, I had to fight my friend for the last one.

The meals we had were delicious. Definitely not fine dining but a large serve of flavoursome, Aus style Chinese. The wine we had, by glass, was pleasant and low priced. Considering it was reasonably busy when we arrived, we couldn't believe how quickly our food arrived. The stay had a nice amount of heat and the rainbow beef had a nice spicy sauce.
