Arrived early before our booking time at 6pm. Ordered around 6:15-6:20pm. Place had a few people in there but not too many. WE WAITED OVER 1.5hrs before getting some food out which was soup. When we asked about the wait time we were told that takeaway took priority and other tables had come in, eaten and left. Yes we were a bigger group but we 1.5hrs with not many there. Then waiting extra time for the mains to come out. Only one dish was sizzling when it came out the rest was warm. The service staff were good trying to accomodate our needs. When we came a few weeks ago food was amazing. Maybe we should have had takeaway and ate at home it would have been quicker.

We recently dined here and was impressed with the service. The staff were quick and accommodating. The food was also good and comes with generous servings at affordable prices. We ordered our usual, which were as delicious as ever. We also tried their new slow-cooked pork belly dish, and it was amazing. The pork was incredibly tender, bursting with flavour. If you're a fan of rich, savoury dishes, this one's a must-try!

Ordered special fried rice, honey chicken, fried dim sums and combination hotpot. Really wanted to mark higher but the food was okay. Very salty rice, honey chicken was simple but ok. Combination hotpot was simple tasting. Average priced to a little bit above. Young girls serving were nice.

Picture this: A hilarious dinner at Peking Chinese Restaurant with ten pals. The sweet and sour pork stole the spotlight, each bite a punchline in our comedy of flavors. But let's not forget the supporting actors – the prawn chips, crispy and addictive, adding a crunch that deserves its own round of applause.

Now, the scene: Peking's decor, a stereotypical masterpiece of red lanterns, golden dragons, and a mural that seems to tell a story only the chef understands. It's like stepping into the set of every classic Chinese restaurant scene in a movie. Yet, the laughter and the fantastic flavors turned that stereotype into a backdrop for our gastronomic sitcom.

So here we are, surrounded by dragon figurines and red-and-gold accents, feasting on sweet and sour pork with prawn chips as our sidekick crunch. Peking Chinese Restaurant, where the decor is classic, the flavors steal the show, and every bite is a punchline in a comedy that tastes as good...

I’m not one to post reviews, but after my girlfriend and I had a long car journey to Maclean we needed some food. Everything was fine until the food came out, but unfortunately we couldn’t eat much of it as it tasted like salt and gravy - I tried to pluck up some courage to tell the waiter (we are young and travelling and don’t want confrontations) but when I told them the noodles were still hard they let me know that’s how they were meant to be done. None of the meal tasted of anything apart from salt and gravy and my girlfriend and I are quite upset we weren’t offered a refund as we made it clear it wasn’t edible for us. Sorry to leave such a review but the truth needs to be told, fellow passers by should avoid this one for the future! We are both left with sore stomachs after trying to eat the raw noodles and salty chicken; and are also very sad that we spent our travel budget eating here, so just a warning for others...

We waited for 1 hour 45 mins We were ok with that so I rang 6 mins before to see if it was ready I was told 5 mins so we went to pick it up We sat there for another 30 mins as we were told it still wasn’t ready , so after 30 mins someone asked what meal we were waiting on and when we told them they said ohh it’s here in the counter , it was ready afterall and the staff were incompetent in knowing this , so it was now cold ? We took it home and our combo chow mein was combo cauliflower it tasted terrible ,and no prawns at all . our special fried rice was not so special and was gluggy , our combo Mongolian was not combo anything If you can’t control take away meals on sat night then close your service down The food was second rate and bland Disgusting service …...
