We pulled into the drive thru just after 5pm to receive possibly the worst customer service experience I've endured. We started placing our order & only got as far as "can we get 2 hash browns & 2 pineapple frozen Fantas" before we were interrupted by a massive annoyed sounding sigh followed by "anything else" that was also delivered with an annoyed tone. We finished placing our order & moved along to next window to pay. We proceeded on to the pick up window & were asked to move into the waiting bay. After waiting there for a bit a worker brought out our food but no drinks. When we asked for them the worker asked "what drinks were they". We told her & she said "yeah the pineapple's not working today" & preceded to stand there staring at us. We ordered new drinks & went back to waiting. While we were waiting for the drinks we opened our bag of food. The hash browns were great - hot & fresh however the bacon & McMuffin we ordered was literally the worst example of a McMuffin I've EVER seen. It was clearly not fresh, poorly wrapped & fell apart into 2 sad looking pieces. The bacon was clearly old, the cheese slice was actually burnt & the muffin was so old (possibly sitting in the rack for hrs) that it actually made a crunching sound as it cracked & flaked while at the same time so rubbery inside the bacon & egg just pulled straight out leaving bacon & egg hanging out of mouth with crunchy muffin in hand. Read moreMy wife drove through the MacDonalds Gosnells drive through on Thursday March 16th and ordered two burgers and chips and specifically asked for no cheese on the burgers. When she got home and unpacked the burgers they both had cheese on them. I was distinctly not happy about this error and called the store and complained that our order was incorrect. The lady said that if we returned to the store the burgers would be replaced and to as for Amber. I also said that by the time my wife would get home the chips from the first order would be cold. Your staff member offered to give us new chips. My wife went back to the store. Amber was not at work on the day?? and then my wife was asked to return the old burgers. I would like to firstly say how incompetent your staff are, secondly how annoyed we were in having to return to the store, thirdly Amber was not as suggested in the store, fouthly we were not instructed to return the old buyers at the time I called and finally we were not given the promised new chips with the second order. When the delivery order arrived I was missing not one but three items. I didn’t receive my pie, small hot fudge sundae or mozzarella sticks. There was no indication to why this may be the case on the order and there was no easy way to report issues with orders on the MyMacca’s app.
The food was definitely not worth it either the nuggets were beyond stale and the 4:1 beef patties in the quarter pounders tasted like they should’ve been wasted hours ago. The frappe was fast blended and contained large chunks of ice and the fries were well past the 7 minute quality timer McDonald’s has in place.
I’m not angry but I just want to know why. Why during a non-peak period can one store be so bad? It was early morning around 0100hrs so there was no reason for the staff to mess up this bad. Please do better next time...
