Hoodburger Mandurah — Restaurant in Mandurah

I went past Hoodburger to grab a takeaway and eat it back at my hotel.

The inside of the joint looked like a very cheap diner and it warm inviting at all. The outside tables were nicer, as they’re by the fountain.

The service was nice. Unlike many of the reviews here, I was greeted by a staff member immediately upon entry, and was explained the difference between a couple of burgers.

Everything was ready within a few minutes too.

When I got to the hotel and looked at it, it gave me a bit of In-N-Out Burger vibe — smashed patty with burned edges, nice thin fries…

The burger was tasty, but nothing special. It definitely looked better than what it tasted like. I was expecting more and, considering that this is solely what they do, there’s definitely work for improvement here.

The fries were fine and seasoned — again, nothing special, or distinctive.

I think Hoodburger are on the right track, but aren’t there yet. They have to work on the interior design of their stores, and perfect their food.

I would give it another go in 2-3...

Just went to Hoodburger Mandurah and ordered a honey butter chicken sandwich for $13 and opened it up to this. I went in and asked for a bit more chicken to which the young girl explained they were out of the chicken they use in burgers and they are just using tenders. I said that was fine and could I just have another tender then to which she said she would need to check with the supervisor who said they were actually completely out of chicken. Apparently it has to brine for 24 hours so they were out and there was nothing he could do. After a minute he did offer a side like mashed potatoes but I just asked for a can of drink instead. The team was really young and I wasnt going to make an issue there but If we had have been approached to say there wasnt actually enough chicken to make my burger, I would have just had something else but to be given this in the hope I wouldnt notice (or say anything?) Is really dissapointing and...

I am not sure if they just forgot to season the burger patty and the cheese?? But I literally cannot taste any seasoning on the burger I ordered in Hoodburger Mandurah branch. I was searching for a good food to eat as I was so hungry and found the Hoodburger. I search their website to check reviews and I found a nice review about the Hot cheeseburger (review says watch out with the hot cheese on it as it will burn ur tongue when you bite 👀) so i ordered it and add a small fries to go with it. Took my first bite and can't taste anything, I tried 2 bites again maybe I'm just mistaken but still the same the patty taste like no salt and pepper even the cheese is not HOT as i was expecting from the reviews (i am not even sure if there is a cheese inside as I only saw mustard and tomato ketchup 😢) I ate it all as I was so hungry and i don't wanna waste my money. Fries is good thin and tasty just the burger 👎🏻...
