We first got here nearly walked away as the lady behind the counter with the tartan dress explained to us there was no spare tables at present, I explained to her we are happy to eat outside even know it was a bit cloudy and chance of rain it was covered. I said to her we were happy to also wait for someone to finish even, and she said I can't ask people to leave when I looked over at a couple who were nearly done, maybe she needs to listen and not react. I didn't ask her to make anyone leave, so we felt a little uncomfortable. Besides the start of it, what a great lunch we had here. Chicken and bacon waffles with maple syrup. Sweet potato wedges. Great place...

Arrived at 10.30 am Saturday to have a breakfast menu. Was told that breakfast menu goes off at 10 am. How hard is it to cook beacon and eggs or even a omelet.. Most other places have all day breakfast or at least till 1pm in the afternoon. Not a very welcoming staff. This is only the 2nd bad review I have done through out Queensland. Well done Happy Days Diner you should pat yourselves on the back for poor service. I thought with the costly prices of fuel and issues with Covid going around. I thought you might have gone out of your way to be helpful and accommodation. I am a local and won't be...

This will be my final edit of this review. The staff are not helpful. They lie and cover up when they serve you racid food. They act like they are concerned untill they get the food back into thier hands and then it is no resolve. They are liers of the highest quality, If you eat there and have never been served racid food, Im glad for you. But 58.00 for me is a lot of money . And for them not to make it right, and when they get the evidence back, to then ban me from the store tells me everything I need to know about this family owned bussness. They have lost my...

Wish I had taken the time to go here much sooner, open early till late. Awsome menu, big variety of choices. The decor is also fantastic, very comfortable and very retro lol. The prices are competitive, especially considering the quality of the dishes. Plenty of off street parking with easy access. Friendly staff, dressed in keeping with the theme. Totally enjoyed the old school malted milk, super cold, I went with the strawberry flavour as it's my favourite, tell you what, Totally took me back to hanging out after school at the takeaway shop hahahaha. Loved it, will return.

This certainly took my wife and I back to our teenage years in the 60's with the alcove seating, decor and rockabilly music playing in each booth. The meals and drink selection was fantastic as was the young ladies dressed in period clothing. Bought back a lot of memories about the happier and carefree days of our youth. Certainly recommend this Happy Days Diner to all older grey nomads and the younger generation wanting to make their own memories. Have been back again since the above review and Happy Days Diner only gets better. 5☆'s for everything.

Enjoyed luch at the Happy Days Diner and this was out of this world, i love everything about the look of the store and the amount of work done on the theme. We ordered lunch and were given large portions of food, much more then expected. Even the kids meals were more like adult size portions. The food was great tasting making what felt like an american style burger. Stop if you can, a treat you will not regret.
