A'lin's Kitchen, North Ringwood Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Melbourne

Rich and full flavoured Laksa was delicious, the owner is so friendly and the service? it just feels like family. So, let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: * Quaint little corner shop, well maintained, nice, polished hardwood furniture and certainly a warm feel to it. There are not a lot of seats but could seat about 25 people maximum inside. Definitely clean, well presented and somewhat homely feel.

Customer Service: * Very good, we were greeted by the amazingly, friendly owner. We were provided menus; order was taken, and food was delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. Big smiles all the way through and you felt amazingly welcome.

Food (Why we are here): * Combination Laksa $18.60 (contains seafood, chicken and roast pork) While the presentation was a little lackluster, this Laksa was so wonderfully rich in flavour. Hidden under the delicious Laksa broth, were very generous portions of all three meats, thin & think noodles and all the accompanying vegetable and spices you would expect. It was a little mild for me and I did wish there was a little more, but excellent, nonetheless.

Overall: * As a laksa fan, there is always that sense of nervousness when trying a new laksa in a new restaurant, but this certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you...

Came here for some noodles but instead tried the teriyaki chicken on sizzling plate and my friend had the diced eye-fillet in black pepper sauce plus the obligatory rice. The chicken was tasty and the portion size excellent. Wasn’t a fan of the black pepper sauce but my friend thought it was nicely hot. Takeaway is available and they were certainly do a good trade with what appears to be regulars. Nice! Service was excellent and was can’t fault the hospitality. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking on the east side of the restaurant. This is a nice small restaurant located in North Ringwood. BYO...

I love everything about A'Lin. My favourite is the Peking pork chop rice, curry pork/chicken cutlet rice, three-cup claypot chicken. My partner loves their spicy kungpo chicken, special fried rice, Indonesian fried rice.

We started with their lunch specials then dinners. It's so fabulous every time. Pick any dish and chances are, it will wow you!

Owners are a lovely couple who always look after their customers with a broad happy smile.

We are so lucky to have this fantastic Chinese restaurant in North Ringwood.

It beats most Chinese restaurants we have been too....
