Taste taste taste, these guys ( I cant remember the owners name) are very passionate about making really great tasting pizza.
All their ingredients seem to purposely be about making a great tasting pizza, rather than how much profit they can make by cutting corners on quality. there is no cutting corners at this Amafi place, from what my taste buds experienced.
The place is always open late if you are peckish and on your way home, it has a passionate owner manager, the home made pizza sauce has to be experienced, the pizza dough is fresh, and always cooked light and crispy, I have never had one that was soggy or doughy if you know what i mean.
I have been so used to "putting up with" that crappy fatty ham, tasteless onion and capsicum , soggy doughy bases, and that yellow stuff which is supposedly cheese "from a 5 kilo bag" that I had lost interest in Pizza and forgotten how good they could be until I walked into Amalfi pizza.
Its just a basic shop, no frills, but the frills are where they should be and that is with the quality of the ingredients you are going to eat. I can tell they pay more for their ham because it taste like good quality bacon, I can tell they make their own tomato sauce, as the flavour is not too sweet and not too salty, plus there are real herbs you can see and taste (it is amazing),
and the cheese oh the cheese, its like I remember how a pizza used to be. Its beautiful, tasty, stringy, crunchy, and golden brown all the way through to the last bite.
Prices are great, service is fast and friendly, I cant go back to the cardboard pizzas down the road....Next I am trying the PASTA! Well done Amalfi, dont stop what you are doing, its working, and i am sure once people get a taste of your secret sauce they...
Read moreWe have placed manny many orders with this company because they are local and we try to support local businesses but nearly every order they muck up and take no responsibility for this. Today we placed 2 orders for different times as we were not all home together. We paid 2 sets of delivery fees and ordered extra food for the second order just to reach their delivery min charge. They ignored our request and sent both orders at once. When I complained and ask for a refund they ignored me again didn’t bother responding. When I eventually spoke to the manager he claimed store policy, which he has fully discretionary licence over and wasn’t prepared to accept responsibility for this. So disappointed with their level of customer service. It’s not hard to listen to customers and adapt in the moment, especially for the local community which are tying their...
Read more4pm, I was well hungry, not having had time to eat anything but a fruit on that day I decided to go for Amalfi Pizza & Pasta, and I'm glad I did Menu is clearly showcased, and well detailed They have pizzas (different sizes indeed, but also a gluten free option), calzones, pasta (with a choice of penne, spaghetti, fettuccini, and gnocchi), grilled chicken, salads, more sides, and branded ice-creams I wanted a carbonara pasta, asked for a suggestion, and went for penne. Which I ordered with a Greek salad. And a Solo lemon soft drink Food is prepared for takeaway, and that's what most customers do But if you need/prefer it, it's possible to eat inside too (there are a few tables and chairs) I came in well hungry, I enjoyed my meal, and I left...
