He made me feel totally comfortable and looked after the entire session. The whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and felt so natural, which made a massive difference for my first tattoo especially jumping straight into a sleeve. I really appreciated it & the design he created for me is unreal. I came across his alien piece on Instagram and instantly knew he was the artist I’d been waiting for. I’d been searching for ages and kept putting it off because nothing ever felt quite right. Then I found his insta page, and every single piece he’d done was seriously incredible. His style is insane, and he absolutely outdid himself with mine as I love the bold, dark, super clean style surreal realism and fantasy. On mine, he blended a beautiful feminine soft face and smooth shading with sharp lines and flow that just sits perfectly on the body I’ll post it in full once the sleeve’s finished, but honestly… when I saw the design I was like far out yep, that’s it!! Better than I could have imagined 🥰. No changes &&Just perfect.✨✨😍🥹

I also met a few of the other artists at Raven’s Hollow and they were all soo down to earth and fun as. The whole studio vibe is such a good time chill, welcoming, and just really easy to be in, so good. That meant a lot, especially for a big first piece when you’re not sure what to expect.🌿

I had been looking at getting a tattoo from this studio, by artist “soy boy” (Nic Smith). I had loved his work for quite some time now and was finally ready to get some work done. We discussed a date and I paid a deposit. After multiple weeks he then had to move the original date as he double booked me. This happened twice .. after travelling and arriving back 1-2 months after. I emailed him regarding the situation and asked if he were able to refund my $200 deposit as this inconvenience was indeed in his control and not at my fault. After some back and forth he told me finally that he will not refund the deposit as they are non refundable (for out of control circumstances) I have been infuriated by this matter and have been left with no choice but to leave an unfortunate review regarding my experience with artist “soy boy” (Nic smith) from ravens hollow tattoo. I discovered this place nearly a year ago and it's by far the best tattoo studio i've been. I had a lot of tattoos already and all done by different people around but once i saw this and met my artist i didn't even think once to go somewhere else to do anything. I stick with my artist but all of them are pretty good. They all have their own style, from old school to realistic/portraits. So whatever you want i can assure you'll find a good one. In addition, the place is super clean and the staff is very nice and funny. I used to bring with me in other places my earpods and my switch to distract me.. but here i've never used them.
