Ribs & Burgers Hawthorn — Restaurant in Melbourne

We had previously had takeaway from here and this evening decide to dine in. The decor is faux industrial chic and as such does have a feel of fast food but slightly more than your standard fast food restaurants. Ordering and paying was via QR code or you could order and pay at the front counter. If paying via QR there are payment options but the default was Ghogle Pay and it wasn't immediately obvious you could change the payment option. Consequently we ordered and paid at the counter. Food service was fast and food quality great. My partner ordered the lamb ribs - they were tender and filling. I wouldn't be able to get through a full serve and the lamb flavour from the way it was cooked would have eventually been off putting, for me. I had a wagyu burger and that was delicious. The burger pattie was thick, juicy and cooked amazingly well. The side of chips were excellent - freshly cooked and with a great crispy crunch. We decide to share a sundae for dessert and that was refreshing. Prices were restaurant prices. Soft drinks were over priced. We were happy with the food quality to price but it is pricey and if wanting it as a "date night" then I would go somewhere different. There are a lot of burger places now-a-days and Ribs & Burgers have an excellent and different offering in their wagyu burgers and, for my tastes, this is what I'd definitel...

The most tender and delicious lamb ribs.

I was a student of Swinburne University. I love to come here when I feel like splurging. This place has the by far the best lamb ribs probably in the whole of Melbourne. Its extremely juicy and tender. The smokey flavour adds a whole other dimension to the ribs.

I still come to this place years after graduating from Swinburne.

This place is good for casual first dates. Or just a night out with your close friends. You can get your hands dirty to eat the ribs. Not a suitable place for a formal business meals. If so you can go for the burgers.

The burgers are cooked at a perfect medium rare. It's juicy, soft and well seasoned. Nothing too special but tastes really good. If you have small hands and a small mouth you might struggle to take a bite. However, you can order the sliders. Maybe 2 if you have a big appetite.

The service is excellent. There's always a friendly staff at the desk taking your order with a smile and cheerful tone make you feel welcomed. They have a good knowledge about the food that's been served. They also help you out with recommendations if you are confused about the choices.

The decor is really great especially after the renewal. It goes with the theme of the restaurant. The pictures on the wall of the butchers and the meat grinders all over reminding you the effort, value and the quantlity of the meat...

Honestly, this is the best wagyu burger that I’ve ever tasted in Melbourne, and you should too try it at your nearest @ribsandburgers who specialises in slow cooked ribs, burgers, wraps, salads and thick shakes.

What we had here:

Lamb ribs with chips, juicy, mouthwatering, sweet and smoky bbq flavoured ribs and the meat fell apart so easily. The meat was very tender and tasted so yummy. Highly recommended.

Wagyu Royale burger, the combo of the ingredients with that juicy, dripping wagyu patty, made this burger so out-of-the-world and mind blowing. I’m definitely gonna come back for this burger. Must try.

Lamb shoulder salad, so fresh, once again juicy tender lamb meat, laced with so many refreshing ingredients made it absolutely tasty.

Strawberry thick shake, so irresistible, so filling and delish.

Also had a raspberry lemonade kombucha.

Everything was simply delicious, addictive and very flavourful. The best part, their quantities are massive, perfect for sharing between two, and don’t forget to check out their ribs and burgers combo meals.

Also everything is freshly made, and the quality is really superior than any other burger places in Melbourne. The prices are so reasonable and the service is fast and friendly, led by a team of helpful and welcoming team of staff.
