Just be aware that the prices on the online menu are less than what you'll find in the restaurant. When I arrived I realised this and asked if I could have the meal for the price they advertised on their online menu, to which they replied no! I told the manager this is false advertising and legally they need honour their advertised prices, but he refused, saying we can change our prices whenever we want! I said to him, so you advertise your prices online get customers in and then hit them with a higher price on your printed menu when they arrive and he replied, I don't know why you are upset about this. I was both disappointed and shocked at his response, so out of principal I left without ordering and went elsewhere. In my opinion it was a complete waste of my time coming to this place or attempting to negotiate with the manager. 100% false advertising and 100% bad customer service. The owner has responded since learning I've made this public on Google reviews and tried to sugar coat the matter through their response, but I assure you, this isn't the type of reception I was given by the manager on that day. Very poor customer service Indeed!

On my way to the eastern freeway I was feeling hungry and decided to eat at Anh Anh for lunch. All I can say is wow. This was a GOOD. SOUP. The bun Bo hue took me back to being in central Vietnam pre lockdown and was super hearty, super fragrant and super delicious. The meat in the soup was plentiful and good quality but the broth was just so so good and I was shocked (in a good way) that I found this spot outside the usual places like Victoria street. It’s not easy to find a good BBH in Melbourne but here the chef has done a super good job with a well balanced soup. If I was going to make any recommendations jt would be good to have some chili oil/sate on the table to add some extra heat but all in all I felt like it didn’t really need it.

Modern local gem located near Kew Junction. Everything we tried was delicious and could not be faulted. Veggie spring rolls, duck rice paper rolls, quail and chicken wings for entrees. The chicken pho and tofu/vegetable pho were amazing. Forget about going to Victoria Street, Richmond or Box Hill for pho, this place should be first on your list to try. Fried ice cream had a slight citrus taste in the crumb, 11/10 for fried ice cream

Anh Anh Vietnamese is a cozy and welcoming restaurant located in the heart of Kew. The restaurant has a simple and understated interior, with comfortable seating and a warm ambiance that makes it a great spot for a casual meal. The menu at Anh Anh Vietnamese features a range of authentic and delicious Vietnamese dishes, made with fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. The standout dishes include the pho noodle soup, the crispy and flavorful banh mi sandwiches, and the deliciously tender and savory beef stew. One of the things that sets Anh Anh Vietnamese apart is their commitment to using high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. The chefs take great care to prepare each dish with care and attention to detail, resulting in food that's not only delicious but also healthy and nourishing. The prices at Anh Anh Vietnamese are reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and the generous portion sizes. The restaurant also offers a great range of drinks, including freshly brewed coffee, tea, and Vietnamese-style iced coffee. The atmosphere at Anh Anh Vietnamese is casual and relaxed, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the cozy and welcoming ambiance. The service is also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who are always happy to make recommendations or accommodate special requests. Overall, Anh Anh Vietnamese in Kew is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Vietnamese food in a cozy and welcoming setting. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or a full meal, Anh Anh Vietnamese is sure to satisfy your appetite and leave you feeling happy...

2 of the 3 dishes we ordered were both “not available” however, we were only made aware when the dishes were due to be served (we weren’t advised at the time of ordering). I was so shocked at the calamari when it arrived on our table… I couldn’t even count 6 pieces on the plate and it was filled with so much “mixed lettuce” to fill the plate and make the portion look full. A tacky way to present a dish. Just serve it on a smaller plate. I would not call this authentic Vietnamese and we won’t be returning as the service was unprofessional with staff yelling at each other (in their own language) and we also noticed a few hygiene issues behind the bar, Eg. Dirty cloth and cleaning sprays right next to plates of food that were just about to be served to customers. There are plenty more authentic Vietnamese places in surrounding suburbs near Glenferrie Rd or Victoria St - ones that serve authentic Vietnamese food the proper way. We were really looking forward to trying this place but it just didn’t meet our expectations and to be honest, isn’t a true reflection of what Vietnamese food is all about. The reviews that say the food is authentic… questionable. Not sure they’ve had real...
