Visited Baraonda 321 in Kew in between lockdowns - lucky us!!!
My family and I had been wanting to visit for quite sometime due to hearing about how good the Italian quality wasâŚ. let me tell you it did not disappoint!
On entering we were greeted by the beautiful Marcella who had a big smile behind her mask, we were also pleased with the clean & authentic look of the venue. The wood fire pizza oven was gorgeous and we were particular fond of the stone feature wall towards the middle of the restaurant.
To start with we ordered some drinks, my highlight as per usual was the Espresso Martini. My partner choose the Menabrea which he enjoyed. My parents had the classic cinotto which never disappoints.
As you can see we ordered a wide variety from their menu to really put it to the test.
We were extremely impressed by the following dishes: Antipasto allâItalia, Polpette delle Nonna, Salsiccia e palate pizza, Diavola pizza, Insalata Di Rucola, Cannoli, Baronda Bombolini.
For me the Calamari batter tasted dry and the Pasta Carbonara was creamier than my liking.
Overall our experience at Baraonda 321 was 5 stars and we definitely want another bite of that Salsiccia e palate pizza ASAP!!!
From the start to the finish the custom service was wonderful, warm and accommodating.
We absolutely recommend Baronda for their authentic Italian quality. Thank...
Read moreWhat an amazing restaurant, really nice setup, atmosphere is Italian style and the food is really delicious. The service is also really good too, so I take my hat off to the staff. The place is in a great location in Kew and right opposite the tram stop, so it is easily accessible by transport. Otherwise if you are driving, there is parking available at High Street and side streets. You may need to make a booking especially if you are planning to dine in on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening as it could get pretty busy. The food is absolutely amazing! The pasta marinara is delicious but if you are looking for something else, you canât go wrong with alternative meals from the menu. Try the scaloppini di vitello, which is Beal scallops cooked in rich mushroom sauce, and this tastes delicious. If you have room for dessert, you need to try the famous Nutella Pizza which is way too good, otherwise the tiramisu is equally delicious. You canât have an Italian restaurant without tiramisu and Nutella Pizza. Otherwise their Panna Cotta is also light and very tasty. I would heartily recommend a visit to this place. The prices are moderate and...
Read moreYummy Pizzas and a Great Takeaway Experience! Chicci Pizzeria is an absolute gem in Kew, and my recent takeaway experience was a perfect 5-star affair. I popped in to grab some pizzas and, while waiting, decided to have a cheeky beer, which was a great little treat after a long day. The service was fantastic from the moment I walked inâgenuinely nice and very friendly staff who made the brief wait a pleasure.
But the real stars of the show were, of course, the pizzas! They were incredibly yummy, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a beautifully cooked crust. Itâs clear they take a lot of pride in their craft.
Even for a simple takeaway order, Chicci provides a wonderful experience. Their delicious pizzas and warm service make it a definite go-to spot. I can't wait to come back and...
