You cannot find a single negative to say about this place. NOT a single negative thing. i started dinning at this place end of 2019, now i am here at least once a week since then. Big Box best value, only thing i order.

Great customer service Great Friendly staff Always a Great smile Great problem solvers Great attitude Great food, not greasy, very tender, better than KFC

I deliberately waited a few month to write this review to look for a downside. There isn‘t a one negative experience. (so far)

They make everything fresh and on the spot, Average wait time is 15-40 mins mind you, so phone in early.

Once they got my order wrong and i had to wait like 1 hour, they threw in a few extra pieces, salad, drink with my order.

once their chicken strip was smaller than before, phone call in happy to remake it for you.

Greatest Feeling leaving this place. They don't take your money unless your food is cooked and packed ready for you to take. So a lot of times i am just standing there eager to pay and being ignored....

And i play tennis close to this place, i can smell their chicken from few streets down....

This is the only take out joint i personally eat on a weekly basis, outside my...

If you read reviews about a place before going.... look no further your quest is complete.

I don't exaggerate when I say I'd travel across Melbourne to come here.

4 years on from first coming here (but definitely not the only times I've visited), what can I say but consistent excellence. You can't say that about many places.

Everything is excellent, from the burgers to the chicken to the nuggets and chips it's all top notch, always crispy and juicy but never greasy. In recent years since the potato shortages they swapped from shoestring to thicker chips. Personally I miss the days of the shoestring made to order hot and straight out of the fryer but the new sized chips fresh always make me realise if I never knew about the golden perfection of the past I'd be over the moon with the thicker ones.

This sets the bar for fried chicken for all others.

This sounds like a fake review....it's not.

Update Aug 2024: Still a mastery of the art of fried chicken. An...

Find me a better fried chicken, please ...

A word of warning ... they are not open on Mondays ... and highly addictive.

Not much as far as the venue goes, it's a take away join ... be ready to wait, as they are freshly made, around 20 minutes.

Have it there is probably the best option, well battered, sh, crispy and juicy.

Better, buy a few, take them home, use your air fryer for 5 minutes as they are just a good ... perfect companion for beers, wines and AFL or rubbish on TV like MAFS is perfect.

Thank God for operators like Arshee who strives to provide better fried chicken options in Melbourne.

Member for Forest Hill, Neil Angus is so lucky, just a few steps across the street, good luck in finding a better fried chicken in Melbourne....

I was recommended this place by a friend and I saw it used as a yardstick to go by when others were talking about crispy fried chicken. I decided to give it a shot and it did not disappoint. The chicken were freshly fried (which means you have to wait for a short while) but what you get is freshly prepared, deliciously deeply fried chicken that is crunchy with every single bite. If you are keen for something saucier, their mustard sauce is awesome too! Parking: there is nearby parking just outside and behind the shop. It was during Covid period when this review was done, and there was no dine-in. Public chairs and tables were also available.
