Came here not expecting it to be such a gorgeous little spot - the decor is fantastic, so much natural light, right next to a park and it’s evident the owners love what they do and have put a lot of thought into everything. Very dog friendly - there are leash parking spots, a pen for dogs, but dogs are also just welcome in and there are water bowls around and lots of dog food options. I spent $22 on a breakfast roll and apple cake, the service was delightful and the food delicious. Everything is handmade and they have lots of options. A few vegan and vegetarian items (like a kimchi and mushroom melt I may try next time) and some things can be made gluten free. Lots of items with eggs, but can easily be removed. They also have colouring sheets for kids, which is cute. Literally the only let down is that they have flyers for Kip dog daycare and boarding services. Having worked at Kip and knowing half a dozen people who have worked at different sites, unfortunately there is a lot of neglect and poor treatment of the dogs, though I doubt the cafe owners know that!

What a gem in Brunswick West! I love this Victoria Street cafe astride the park. A perfect hang out spot for dog owners seeking respite on their walk, and for us it was a perfect destination for a weekend brunch. A lovely, cosy feel with eucalyptus-green walls (the paint was specifically chosen!). The furniture is a quaint mix of cottage dining chairs and tables, and snuggly sofas and settees. The food is also delightful, we enjoyed delicious eggs florentine with a light hollandaise and focaccia sandwich with egg and bacon. Coffees were standard but be prepared for big sizes. Expect 2 shots or ask for 1! We noticed a lot of doggy art, including the enormous painting reminiscent of Edward Hopper’s iconic 1940s painting Nighthawks. You may also know the 1980s Gottfried Helnwein painting inspired by Nighthawks - Boulevard of Broken Dreams. This take shows doggos of the owners! There’s also another adorable pet wall, an outdoor area for longer pet hangouts and pet treats available. Recommended. I will be back!

I love this place so much! First, the coffee is amazing, please try their flat white or black one (my brother’s favorite). Second, their food is soooo good, I literally live for their cinnamon buns (available on the weekends if I recall), third, the owners are adorable, so kind and they deserve the world! And obviously, let’s not forget about the vibes of the café, I don’t have a dog but if I had one, I’d definitively spend all my mornings there haha I 100%...
