Bath the sheep — Restaurant in Melbourne

We discovered @baththesheep, a new dessert store in Balwyn that just opened a week ago. My kids were drawn to the bingsu picture on the storefront, reminiscent of the now-closed Monster Bingsu in the city. The shop is brand new, with ample seating both in the front and rear, making it a perfect family-friendly spot for young kids and parents to enjoy a delightful treat.

This place definitely attracts young families and couples. Their menu offers a variety of bingsu, waffles, milk tea, fruit tea, and more! We were pleasantly surprised by the hidden toppings in our Taro Monster, which included a layer of granola for added crunch and boba balls.

It was my first time trying Matcha Lava, and the combination of cream cheese and matcha was a perfect match. They are very generous with red bean (azuki).

I called a head for 45 mins to order 4milk tea and told her will pick up at 2.15pm, I told her very clearly I don’t want to waiting because your guy took too long to make it. That’s it mean I have been there many times and knows very well you to slow to make it and wait for long. I’m arriving and she told me give me 5mins to make it because not sure are you coming!! If you not trust why not tell me on the phone not accepting orders by phone!! It’s wasting my time. And very disappointing. So bad service!!! Last time I order waffle and one woman has long extensions nails and not wear gloves. Try to pick waffle put in the box by her long nails! I told her you need to wear gloves all the time because your nails so long maybe have gem in your nails and make people sick!

My family and I have been to this place many times. We love their chicky waffle which is why we always come back. Their service is usually fairly standard - here only for the job and money. I totally understand this and consider this absolutely fine. But this time, my daughter and I came in the middle of a weekday, the girl (curly hair and big frame glasses) served us was super rude, no greeting and spoke with so much attitude. This is very unpleasant. The chicky waffle pork floss we ordered had barely any filling. She also kept changing the music, skipping songs or turning on and off. This quite disappointing that such a great dessert place (one of my favourites) is ruined but the attitude...
