Read moreFrom the moment I walked into this place, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d want from a great burger joint—warm, vibrant, and full of character. There’s a real buzz in the air, but it never feels chaotic. It strikes that perfect balance between laid-back and lively. Whether you’re out for a casual bite, catching up with mates, or on a chill date night, the vibe just works.
Now, let’s talk about the burger—because wow. Hands down one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The bun was soft but held together beautifully, with just the right amount of toasty crispness. The patty? Juicy, full of flavour, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection with that delicious slight char on the outside. Every bite was packed with layers—melty cheese, tangy pickles, crisp lettuce, and that house-made sauce that should honestly be bottled and sold on its own. You could tell everything was fresh, nothing mass-produced or thrown together. This is the kind of burger that makes you pause mid-bite to appreciate what’s happening in your mouth.
And the sides? Don’t even get me started. The chips were golden and crunchy, seasoned just right—not too salty, not too bland. I also tried the onion rings which were thick-cut, crunchy without being greasy, and paired brilliantly with a smoky dipping sauce. Even the drinks list was solid, from local beers to a few cheeky cocktails and classic sodas that gave it a retro twist.
But beyond the food and drinks, what really took the experience to the next level was the service. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, genuine, and clearly cared about making sure everyone was having a good time. Our server was friendly, quick with recommendations, and always checking in without hovering. Even small things like water refills, clearing empty plates, and a quick chat about the food didn’t go unnoticed. You can tell the team takes pride in the place—and it makes all the difference.
In short: this place absolutely nails it. A great burger spot isn’t just about what’s on the plate—it’s about how the whole experience makes you feel. And here, you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Can’t recommend it enough. If you’re a burger lover, get here. You...

Where do I begin?
This was our groups first time visiting here. When our group arrived there was no one at the front of the restaurant, so we just went and took a seat. We were then very unceremoniously asked if we had booked that table, and when we said no, we were then moved to another table. No one else was seated at the table we were originally at for close to an hour. No idea why we were moved.
We all had to queue for 10-15 minutes to order our meal. There was only one staff member taking orders. Whilst waiting to order we watched other staff casually walking around, not really doing anything. Two staff members spent at least 10 minutes cleaning a small drink spill. It certainly didn’t require two people for the job.
After 40 minutes our meal hadn’t arrived, so I went back to the queue to find out how much longer it would be. I was told it would be at least 5-10 more minutes. There was no apology whatsoever.
Our meal finally arrived after more than 45 minutes. This certainly wasn’t fast food.
To make matters worse one party member who has an intolerance had asked for no onions or olives in her meal- and her meal contained these.
I opened the wrapper on my burger and was shocked at what had been provided to me after a 45 minute wait- photo attached. It looked as though someone was blindfolded when they made this, and they dropped the patty on the ground and shoved it back in the burger in pieces. Certainly was not worth the wait or the $16. Oh and this was the Betty’s Delux burger by the way- I hate to think what the regular burger looked like.
Would never return to this place.
