Bundoora Fish & Grill — Restaurant in Melbourne

I frequent this shop at least once a fortnight, to get either a burger or souvlaki pack. Or a family pack on a Friday night. They are delicious. And the flakes are taste very fresh and flavoursome. As are their chips and potato cakes. Compared to the flake at a nearby shop, which is dry and stringy. Yes, they may not have EFTPOS. But I always grab extra cash out after I've done my shopping to buy my lunch anyways. Just in case I pick somewhere for lunch that requires payments with cash. And no-one can see the kitchen from the front of the shop. So to claim seeing someone smoking in the kitchen, is a flat out bloody lie. LOL I happen to find all the staff very friendly and pleasant, too. And have never had a problem with our orders, in all the time...

Always greeted warmly, orders are cooked in a timely manner and I've never had an issue with the taste or quality of the food. UPDATE: has gone down hill badly. Incorrect orders on a regular basis, especially by young man in the store. He is obviously not paying attention and/or is distracted, whatever the reason, not good enough. Be going elsewhere from now on. Update: back to...

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Our order was undercooked, soggy and oil ridden. On top of that the minimum chips order seems to have shrunk by half and their fish sizings are laughable for the price - half of what you would expect. Further more they stuffed the order up and left a piece of flake out. The meal was inedible and thrown in the bin. Never...
