BurgerBurger — Restaurant in Melbourne

Looking at the reviews and the burgers, I needed to give this place a try. Went in around 4:45pm on Saturday and was only two other customers. Brilliant! A quiet meal ahead!

I ordered the full monty which is their monty burger (2x beef patties) plus battered fries and a drink for $20.

Approx 10 minutes wait and the order arrived, I couldn't wait to dig in! First bite was very nice, with a nice combination of thr two beef patties, bacon and mixture of the cheese and special sauce amalgamating together, it was excellent.

Then, it happened. The bread started to rip apart, and I found myself and the bread drenched with a bit too much of the special sauce. Also where the bread was breaking apart, it was another two bites until it completely fell apart on me and I was literally picking up the pieces.

This gave me an opportunity to try the beef patties and their own. The quality of the beef was very good, but it just was not cooked correctly. It tasted bland and the texture was a slightly rubbery. Just a little too long on the grill I guess.

With that bread it gave an impression of a Fish and Chip shop burger.

The chips? excellent. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and a hearty serve provided.

It was a very filling meal, and for $20, I believe it was worth the money, but the overall quality of the burger itself was lacking.

Saying this though, I will be back to give Burger Burger another chance.

The burger itself i give a 3 out of 5. The Chips I give a 5 out of 5. Service and ease of access (parked at Surrey hills station and was a 15 second walk to the shop) 5 out of 5.

Overall, a solid 4 out...

Ordered from here on Uber eats, can't speak for the sides yet as I'm yet to try them all.

But i must say I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the burger I received tonight was.

The chilli double smashed burger was the BEST burger I've had in a long while. Everything tasted nice, fresh and of high quality. Even the structure of the burger itself was perfect not too soggy not too dry, perfect amount of ingredients, could comfortably eat the burger without it being messy or stuff falling out. Also the chilli mayo sauce or whatever it's called complimented the other flavours within the burger and tied everything together perfectly.

I originally wanted to give this store 5 stars on the app but my app glitched and it wouldn't let me submit a rating. So I came here to give thanks for the quality of product i received and show my support.

As long as the quality and standards are this good I will definitely be a returning customer!

Good burgers but we got sick of the terrible service and constant errors. 4 orders in a row had mistakes, like normal fries instead of the parmesan ones we paid extra for or forgetting the fries altogether. We used to go at least once a fortnight but the last time was months ago because after we placed the order over the phone, we got told 15 minutes so we gave it 20 and walked in. They hadn't started our 2 burgers and fries yet. So we waited. And waited. They had the food ready for 2 different people that walked in and ordered at the counter after we'd arrived. We weren't the only ones getting fed up with the wait either as another person told them to cancel, they'd go somewhere else. We asked about our food for the third time and they finally yelled at the guy on the grill to start them. IT TOOK THEM OVER AN HOUR WHEN THEY SAID 15 MINUTES AND THEY WOULDN'T EVEN APOLOGISE. It was a miserable, cold, rainy evening and we had to wait outside for 45 minutes, never again.

And they are not wheelchair...
