I recently visited this coffee shop with a group of scientists and healthcare professionals, and while there were some great aspects to our experience, there’s room for improvement.

The environment was fantastic—relaxed and welcoming, perfect for thoughtful conversations. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home. I started with a coffee, which was good, and later ordered a fruit juice. The juice was a highlight—tasty, healthy, and extremely fresh.

However, I was disappointed to find that none of the pastries were vegan. Every option contained eggs and milk, which is unnecessary in baking and supports industries that inherently involve animal exploitation. It's a fact that animals in dairy and egg industries are eventually killed, and male chicks and calves are typically slaughtered shortly after birth as they are deemed unprofitable. This was especially disheartening as my group shares a strong stance against such practices.

It would be wonderful to see the menu expand to include vegan pastries, which can easily be made without animal products. Once animal products are removed from the menu, I’ll be happy to come back and change my...

Just wanted to mention this fantastic cafe in Victoria we just had breakfast at. It's called "Reunion" and it's 160 Union Road, Surrey Hills. I am living a 100% Paleo lifestyle and that makes it difficult to find appropriate dining sometimes. There was so much beautiful organic, free range food including the tastiest most natural pink salt unprocessed and unrefined made in Australia that I've ever tasted too. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Drop in if you're in the area and try them out. I had Eggs Atlantic, 2 poached eggs, salmon, Hollandaise sauce and I replaced the muffin with spinach. This review has been posted in my groups "The Paleo Way Tribe" and "My Paleo Way" which has approx 40000...

Had brekkie here with a mate and it was pretty darn good. The cafe has an industrial feel with lots of natural light and spots of greenery throughout. The porridge was amazing! Smooth, hearty and generously portion it's a great winter warmer. I heard it is all house made and that whipped pumpkin butter was very unique 👌. Fish tacos comes in threes and was fried to perfection. The chipotle slaw and tomato & coriander salsa were the perfect balance for the tacos. The pancakes were good, a little denser than other. When combining the mascarpone and rhubarb compote the flavours were perfectly balanced. Overall a great cafe for brekkie, brunch or lunch. Good strong coffee, delicious meals and beautiful venue. Would...

Cute cafe, my siblings are I brought my mum here for brunch about a year ago. Lovely coffee, good menu. Loved the atmosphere. Reason for my rating - My brother received his chai with a spoon IN it instead of on the side. He took it out and it was covered in something black thinking it was chocolate, after tasting it he realised was actually Vegemite? Very random, we laughed about it (and still do) and told waitstaff but they failed to remake his chai latte they only took the spoon away 😂

This cafe is a favourite haunt of mine. George and the staff are extremely friendly and always able to help out The food is great with a good variety for breakfast, snacks and lunch. Coffee is great. With occasional special touches Always has a good vibe there, and is open long hours, 7 days a week. So whenever I feel a need for an extra caffeine hit or to catch up with friends, Reunion is there. Whether a coffee or a meal you can’t go past Reunion when in Surrey Hills
