We visited Cafe Vita whilst visiting a relative in the Springvale area. We found the listing on Google Maps, the open plan seating area and clean facility is what drew me in. There was no reference to it being within the cemetary grounds, which may confuse some. However I had no issues locating it, walking in and seating ourselves down. No table or greeting services here but that's fine with me. The menu is brief and to the point, as they also have a selection of items at the counter to glaze over and choose from. The attendant at the cashier sadly was a bit of a let down, seemed very disinterested to serve customers, frowning and disinterested attitude. Overall a pleasant dining experience, the food and coffee was fantastic, wait staff excellent at delivery and taking away of plates. 4 stars.

Delicious food & such lovely service, the parking is difficult to find as it’s very busy for a cemetery but the cafe has plenty of seats however the service can be slow when it come to the drinks since the amount of people that come in mainly like to have coffee/tea! I had the cafe vita breakfast which was delightful & tasty, the coffee was also very nice & huge I mean huge! definitely worth the price, I was however disappointed in the flower shop as it was overpriced & all the flowers were dried out, will however definitely come back to the cafe again when visiting. ☕️💐 However I just realised I didn’t receive my hash brown with my food?

Nice cafe servicing Springvale Botanical Cemetery. Food and service are hit and miss. Sometimes quality is really good with fast service; other times food is average, and service is slow. Burger is good if you're in for a lunch, but the breakfast items are what I would recommend. So far haven't been disappointed with that. The Slow Roasted Beef Benedict and Mushroom Medley were both delicious, and the Son In Law Eggs (although smaller in portion) was a standout. If you're already visiting Springvale Botanical Cemetery, it's a no-brainer. The cafe serves good food (most of the time) and you won't be disappointed.

On Thursday 14/10/2021 at 11:15am I have attended the cafe vita with my friend to purchase couple of coffees. My friend wore a mask and I did not due to having an exemption. While waiting two female customers questioned and insulted me on why I have no mask on,no one has the right to make any comment to any person, and in addition your male barista decides to jump on board and supported these two female customers with his own insults in a patronizing manner. I have called the head office and it appears to be of no concern that their customers are being treated in such a disrespectful way. I have been a regular customer way before and during this pandemic to now be treated undignified is disgraceful. SHAME ON THE BARISTA SHAME ON CAFÉ VITA

18/11/2021 Note; IN RESPONSE TO YOUR GENERIC REPLY , DO NOT PUT FALSE INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC! IT WAS I THAT CALLED YOUR HEAD OFFICE AND YOU ONLY SHOWED LACK OF CARE AND...

We were hosting a funeral at the memorial Park today, had left voicemails to book an area at the cafe, but never received a call back. On arriving we immediately went to the cafe to advise that we would have 20 people coming for a coffee/snack later in the afternoon. When we returned after the funeral, we were greeted by a very rude staff member who asked us why we hadn’t made a booking despite the above attempts. Throughout our stay, that particular staff member acted like it was a disservice that there were patrons in the cafe, shouting out coffee orders, reluctantly accepting any hot food orders and reminding us when the cafe was closing. Not the service or experience we would expect at any cafe, let alone at one attached to a funeral venue where compassionate staff...
