Food: 3.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Kid Friendly: 4/5 Overall was pleasantly surprised with the meals that were seen coming out of the kitchen. Pub meals that looked lovely on the plate. Some small tweaks on the flavours and being slightly overcooked but forgiven being a very busy Friday night. Service was a little hit and miss especially as we were seated out of sight near the kids playroom (requested). Again they did their best and apologised where they fell short so I think their service will be great in less busy circumstances. Positives are the $10 kids menu, excellent value with generous drink selection and ice-cream with preferred topping was a hit. They also have a table with colouring pencil packs and colouring pictures -keeping kids entertained. Serving sizes were good vs pricing. Great drink selection and specials. The main seating area and bar in the middle as the main focal point looked modern and welcomining, great design. Would return for a family meal - kids definitely enjoyed it which is a bonus.

**Wonderful Experience at Sandown Park Hotel for Our Daughter's Baptism** We recently celebrated our daughter’s baptism on the 8th of September, 2024, in the Corrigan Room at Sandown Park Hotel, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The booking process was simple, communication was efficient, and the pricing was very reasonable. A special thanks to the amazing staff, especially Robyn, for ensuring everything ran so smoothly and seamlessly. The room was beautifully set up, and our guests were thoroughly impressed with the outstanding food. We received so many compliments from our guests, and it truly made the day even more special. Thank you for helping make our daughter’s baptism a memorable and wonderful occasion! We highly recommend Sandown Park Hotel to anyone looking for a perfect venue for their special event.

For the past two years, our company, Sunrise2Sunrise, has had the pleasure of hosting our annual Christmas party at Sandown Park Hotel, and it has been an outstanding experience every time. From the moment we arrive, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality make us feel truly valued as guests. The food is exceptional—delicious, beautifully presented, and always served fresh and on time. The service is nothing short of impeccable. The team is professional, accommodating, and consistently attentive, which makes planning and enjoying the event stress-free. We look forward to coming back again next year! Thank you, Sandown Park Hotel, for helping us create such memorable celebrations. Highly recommended!

My wife and my self are regulars at your restaurant . Normally we book over our home phone and arrive at you restaurant greeted by your friendly staff which always give excellent service, by some who know us , escorted to our table always near the window, given a menu , we order and pay cash at the food bar cashier which never takes long and the food is brought to the your table . "simple". Last nigh we booked over the home phone for 6.30pm , arrived to be greeted by a middle age tall male who escorted to our table but given no menu. Asked for one was told they do no provide menus any more and we are required to use our mobile phone with the table QR Code to read menu , order and to pay with phone . We told him we have basic phones only used for calls and is prepaid and we always pay cash . The male in a smart way that this is now the way it is done. I asked for a menu he point to the Drinks Bar to go and get one , had to wait a while as Drink orders where before us. Once ready to order another customer who was also unhappy told use we had to order and pay at the Drink Bar which which had quiet a long que and had to wait a long while as the Bar Staff had to fill drink orders which slowed the food orders to .. Service may be good if you use QR CODE at table , but if not the order service became very very poor. Many customers who i spoke to who do not use QR Codes feel as our self are being discriminated against due to your process . Staff except for greeter did as normal great jobs and many said sorry for what the new process put us through. There must be a better service for others who do not use QR Codes and pay cash. x...

Myself husband and 6 year old attended here for dinner tonight. We were greeted nicely at the door but when we went to order we were told that we had to scan the qr code to view the menu and order online but I overheard the other table be told they could approach the counter and pay there so that was the first strike for me. The food took an hour to reach the table and the service received from staff was just terrible and not friendly at all. The food was very average and mostly reheated frozen foods so if you're looking for something fresh definitely avoid this place. I asked for a take away container to put my daughters left overs in seeing as it had gotten so late at this stage that she had left a substantial amount of food on her plate only to be told by staff that they dont do that here i paid for that food so in my oppinion its the least they could have done considering how the night was going. For the money that you spend here you may aswell go to dandenong pavilion down the road for amazing food and service at the same price. We won't be coming back here and definitely won't be recommending it to...

I attended a wedding here Saturday night and I must say besides the dude behind the bar the customer service here was horrific. I didn’t catch the name of the other woman who was calling out each table but her and Robyn in particular were miserable the entire night and quite frankly rude. A wedding is supposed to be a day of love and happiness but you took a part of that away from the bride, groom and guests. When the couple were doing their first dance the lights weren’t even turned on the dance floor and the audio was unable to be heard. When asked to do anything the staff were sighing and rolling their eyes. Id like to specifically highlight that when Robyn was serving she was incredibly nasty and short toned. At one point in the evening we had ordered a round of shots in celebration and Robyn came over to the bar shaking her head and passing judgements. Despite the beautiful setup this has turned myself and other guests off from EVER booking a function here. I would NOT recommend this venue unless you want a bunch of miserable passive aggressive old ladies hosting your event. If I could give 0...
