A hidden gem of truly authentic taste and welcoming hospitality.

We visited on a quiet Friday night and received attentive care from the waitress, who made brilliant cocktails. There was another family there who were quite difficult and picky eaters by the sounds of it, but she was able to cater to their needs (don't go to an authentic restaurant if you want a pub meal it's embarrassing)

We had the curry and it was presented with with a variation of meat, rice, yoghurt and more. The chef brought it out to us and recommended we mix it all together as the tastes compliment each other, and she was so right! Was so flavoursome and felt truly traditional and authentic.

We also cannot recommend the pan rolls high enough - brilliant entree.

If you're keen on trying something other than the westernised food of Frankston, I cannot recommend this place higher! Great value for money, great meal sizes, welcoming and attentive staff......

We thought we had found a hidden gem but unfortunately good customer service it was not. When you take the time to actually book a table you would think that you would be within the time frame to order dessert! Instead of being told no, kitchen is closed. Wouldn't you at bare minimum.... approach our table and say "hey, if you want dessert you should order now as the kitchen is closing"...That was super disappointing, especially when you deliberately dont eat all of your meal to have room for it..to be told no and your food is now cold so you can't go back to it. Zero respect shown towards a customer who took the time to book a table...different if we had walked in...

This is a lovely Cafe serving authentic Sri Lankan food. The pan rolls ( house speciality) are not to be missed, and the curries are full of flavour without being heavy or oily. I must say the loaded wedges topped with fried curry leaves are spectacular! I can also recommend the nasi goreng with devilled chicken, which is made with the chef's own signature belacan. This dish goes perfectly with the long neck Lion beer which is served properly chiiled. There are also sandwiches, wraps and traditional bacon and eggs available. On Wednesdays they have an all you can buffet with a Sri Lanka hopper cart but I am not sure if it is permanent. All up, this place is definitely...

We have been meaning to visit this little place for so long now. The food was lovely, I wasn’t quite sure what main I ended up with but it was tasty and vegetarian. They seemed very conscious of dietary requirements and came back out to check I was ok with nuts. The lady who served us was gorgeous, such a lovely warm soul. Wednesday evenings they have an all you can eat smorgasbord for $30 and apparently it gets booked out. The restaurant is on Skye Rd but the other side of the freeway closer to the new updated intersection ,turn on your maps and you will see what I mean . Thanks again for the lovely, served with a lovely smile.

A hidden gem in Frankston located in some industrial units near Kananook Station. Inside is both homely and authentic with the service very friendly. We had the all you can eat buffet lunch and it was sensational. Fresh egg pancake, popadoms, raita and salads (coconut sambal, yum!) to go with a selection of six curries (3 veg, 3 meat). The beef curry, the prawn curry and the deviled chicken were all phenomenal with the Dahl and creamy potato curries also hitting the spot. All washed down with a cold Lion beer. Just perfect for $25. Highly recommended
