In a West suburban desert of culinary establishments I happened to chance upon a camel less oasis serving delicious food and beverages. The highlight was the $5 shake. It brought back memories of Vincent Vega interrogating Mia Wallaces’ in arguably the greatest movie of the 20th century. Had the BLAT as well. Just lovely. Could have had more but I’m watching my weight…..

One of the best joints for coffee and toasties. At such a great price too. Extra accomodating staff as I have gestational diabetes and they were able to swap the ciabatta for sourdough! Very family friendly setting also. Our toddler loved the chalk and being able to draw on the footpath outside! Thank you chapter one!!!

Unpretentious neighbourhood cafe with great coffee and outstanding toasties made to order - do yourself a favour and try the caramelised onion, bacon and fried egg toastie, or go off-menu with bacon, egg, avocado and roasted tomatoes on toast.

One of the best joints for coffee and toasties. At such a great price too. Extra accomodating staff as I have gestational diabetes and they were able to swap the ciabatta for sourdough! Can confirm this cafe is located in the best neighbourhood. You can really feel a good sense of camaraderie here with locals mingling with other locals and staff having a good laugh with them just like they are great friends. Definitely a friendly atmosphere with delicious cheap eats and the best coffee in the west.

Highly recommend this place being your regular before work, usually fast service and you'd probably meet a dog or 2(or 3) while...

Good coffee and food. Not so great service Been here multiple times & whilst trying to eat a meal had staff pack up tables and chairs around me, an hour before their written closing time. didn’t feel comfortable or welcome at all. Also have come past on a few occasions and the cafe had been closed 45 to 1hr before their listed...
