Store leader on Saturday 12th Feb was there around 12pm. First when I went up he greeted me and ask how I was I responded and asked back how he was he said « Me? i’m Terrible »while laughing» and being sarcastic. I went on and told him I just got the coffee club membership and before I got to ask him to explain to me how it worked he said he was sorry for me that I got it. I asked why. He said that it’s just another app and I have to pay for it, in a very negative way, while laughing sarcastically. I couldn’t even believe he was saying that. Honestly, worst customer service and very disappointing coming from the store leader. If the store leader himself has such a bad view of his store and seemed to think i wasted my money on the membership (which now that I’ve had this experience there I think he was probably right on that one) then might as well never go back there - lucky we found a lovely cafe downstairs inside altona gate shops called Saccas fine foods so we will go there every Saturday after doing our groceries now, Saccas fine foods has much better price better food and wait for it better customer service by far :) but seriously you should look into this, the guy’s not quite right.
Response to Owner - It was not a misunderstanding your store leader sounded like he hates his job and was open to show it to the public and no, we he was enough to make us never go back, we will stick to places that provide good service like the coffee shop downstairs in that shopping centre or the many other coffee shops...

Shame on you The Coffee Club for dictating how much produce is used by the chef and how much to charge. I ordered Avocado on toast paid $16.90 and what came out to my table was pathetic. When I explained my frustration to waitresses that brought out the food I was told "it's The Coffe Club" and shrugged her shoulders and walked off smiling. It ruined my breakfast with my daughter. The manager came past and I told her my concerns and she gave me my money back for the Avo on toast. My daughter ordered the fluffy blueberry pancakes and what she got to what the picture showed was not the same. Read moreI was in need of a coffee Easter Monday and everything else was shut. So I gave in and paid the pointless 15% surcharge to get a coffee here. I might as well have drank toilet water. The somber staff struggled to take my order while the slowest barista on earth grumpily made my latte. The look on her hungover and angry face said it all. My coffee was an inconvenience to all who worked there. While I waited much longer than I should I have I stared at the dry cake cabinet that looked like the cakes hadn’t been replaced since 1991. I reminisced about the good old days of AG and wished donut king was still there. All I can say is when I finally got my coffee is was Luke warm and old tasting. Do they ever clean that machine? I’ll never know. Please don’t eat or drink here. It’s the worst coffee shop in Melbourne....
