Charlie's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Melbourne

Worst pizza we have ever had. Soggy toppings. Soggy base. toppings falling off. Ham smelt funny and was probably the cheapest cut possible. But the saddest thing was the poor service.. we spent over $50 and asked for two of the pizzas out of the 4 to have no anchovies. We left a message on Menulog and also verbally told the store after calling them. They added anchovies but realised they shouldn't have, and seemed they tried to pick them off but missed a lot of them. We counted at least 4-5 anchovies on the pizza. I am upset because my nephew is allergic to them, hence why I was super cautious in calling them and also leaving a message. Both pizzas smelt like anchovies too. Thank God my nephew did not eat one. The store needed to make the two pizzas fresh instead of try to pick them off. We were unhappy so we emailed menulog. The store refused to apologise and also refused compensation or a replacement. A sorry goes a long way sometimes. To make it worse, the food was disgusting and its obvious they use cheap ingredients. We were all sick that night and have a doctors note to prove it, if you think I am making this up. The ham was putrid. Stay away...

Waited about 10 minutes for pizza, some of their pizzas include Lil Ds, Lamb Souvalaki, Sujuk, Mediterranean, Tandoori, Charlie's Special, Capricosa, Ned Kelly, Margarita, Hawaiian, Aussie, Americana, Mexicana, vegetarian, spaghetti Bolognese, marinana, garlic and pepperoni.
