Do you want have a function with 50 friends in this place?NO!!!
Have you prepared to be a cleaner after you pay the bill? Yes!!!
I am absolutely appalled by the experience I had at this restaurant.
While dining, my 2 years old baby became sick and started vomiting in the kid’s room.
Instead of offering help or showing any empathy, the staff actually asked the customer to clean up the mess! After declined this ridiculous request, I have been told never come back to this place.
This is not only unprofessional but downright heartless. It’s unimaginable that a business would treat a person in such a degrading manner in a situation like this. The lack of compassion and basic decency from the staff is disgraceful. It won’t even happen in any food court or McDonald!
I will never be returning, this going to be my first time and last time in this place and I strongly advise others to avoid this place for any function!
Updates on 2nd of Dec 2024:
I would like to provide the updates based on owner's reply:
First of all, my baby was always accompanied by my wife throughout the entire time! Secondly, I have strong doubts about whether your staff is adequately monitoring the kids' room, especially when there are over 20 children present during busy periods. If your staff truly cares about the well-being of the kids in the room without supervision, you should have communicated this to all of us, but you did not. Stop misleading everyone!
Calling "other people's children" your customers is unacceptable. We had over 40 people dining at your restaurant, and yet you refer to your customers in such a dismissive manner? This clearly shows the attitude you have toward your customers.
The young male waiter handed me a bucket of hot water and asked me to clean up the mess myself, without offering any assistance. He was the only one present and even threatened to charge me a "cleaning fee" if I didn't clean it up. I refused his ridiculous demand! Once again, even street food restaurants don't ask customers to clean. If a customer were to vomit in your toilet, would you expect them to clean it as well? Well done!
1st, I was never willing to clean up the mess initially, and as a customer, I should not be expected to do so. I didn't placed a beanbag over the vomit, If i did, why i tell you there is a mess to be clean? 2nd, the reason I informed your staff that my child was vomiting is because, by common sense, it is the staff’s responsibility in a restaurant to clean up such messes. 3rd, your manager – the young male waiter – was the only one who seemed angry when I declined to pay the "cleaning fee." Let’s be honest, if you are that young waiter reading this message, then please focus on your duties. Work hard in your restaurant and clean up your area. It is your job and responsibility.
In summary, this has been the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurants in global range.
Based on your reply, it is clear that both the manager and the owner are untrustworthy.
I will be sure to warn everyone to stay away from...
Read moreMy partner and i had a meal here tonight 17/03/18 . Where do i start . Customer service was great greeted politely and allocated a table promptly. Then i went up and placed our order that was fine too. Then it started to go downhill faster than a hipster on a skateboard going down a hill . The service was incredibly slow even people who had ordered the same meal after us had been served first and a older couple sitting across from us that were there when we arrived didnt get served until at least 15 minutes after we had been served our meals . Then upon arrival of our food ( not even what we wanted because they had run out of prawns ) it was a very basic almost hospital like meal i ordered a medium steak with chips and veg and my partner ordered a chicken parma . Firstly we would have been lucky to have 5 individual pieces of vegetables between the two of us . A carrot that looked like it had been tucked behind the ovens for a few days 2 tables spoons of peas and maybe a 50 cent piece size of pumpkin . My steak was well overdone and way to much garlic butter. Both of our chips were soggy . Im sure you get the point . It was terrible ! The lovely older couple next to us then had their meals come out and the looks of disappointment almost made me want to pay for their meal so the didnt feel like they had wasted their dollars also . All in all for the money we paid it would have been alot smarter to go elsewhere. Until there's a confirmed change in the way this venue operates i would avoid it . Staff are great but the food and service speed really needs to be looked at . If you can't handle the volumes of people then don't try ! I hope they get everything on track as i would love to dine there again...
Read moreFood was great and the service to the tables was great however the bar staff were average. A child spilt a drink and when I asked for a cloth to clean it up (usually at most places a staff member will help or takeover or assist in some matter) I was met with "just a minute" and then handed a cloth, when I returned with the said now dripping cloth (which wasn't big enough to clean the spill) the staff member made eye contact with me, yet waited to finish pouring another patrons drink, understandably... however he could have give some communication as to what I could do with the cloth in the meantime rather then have it drip into my hand, as when he finished a good 1-2 minutes later he then turned to me and said oh just pop it there and pointed to the bench area in front of me... In frustration at this point I then asked where I could find serviettes and then continued to clean up the mess. As I was finishing the clean up, more food arrived and the wait staff offered to help me finish the clean up and offered us a new drink as well. Later that night the bar staff served the wrong martini after I had confirmed the type of martini more then 3 times, we even had a conversation about the type of martini. Otherwise the night was great although we were seated next to a table of very loud hyenas which made it difficult to have...
