Chew Burgers.. hmm, where do I start? Chew Burgers appears to be a great Burger Place and sounds good when readingthe menu but when I arrived to pick up my Burger and pay for it I was a little surprised when I was told my Burger is $19... I ordered a Plenty Burger which costs $17 I asked if I could have it without Lettuce or Tomato and with extra Pickles, There was only five slices of Pickle on my Burger so with the extra Pickles being $2 it would appear I paid $1 for each extra slice of Pickle? I'm sure if I looked on the menu properly it would say the price of extras but I didn't and nothing was said over the phone about it either, the vibe when I walked in was uninviting and a tad depressing, I was the only customer in Chew Burgers at the time and didn't even get a hello.. I won't be going back to Chew Burgers as first impressions last a lifetime, I was severely disappointed and underwhelmed by the over priced over cooked dry Burger, I have to say as a first and last time customer I felt very unappreciated and treated with zero customer service, as I said earlier in my review there was no Hello when my food was handed to me there was no thank you, considering I just paid $19 for a Hamburger I would say the overall experience was absolutely terrible! Unfortunately I don't Recommend Chew Burger to anybody at all... I hope things change at Chew Burgers as they have a lot of potential to be a great Burger Restaurant, I think the main issue is management and there lack customer relations, obviously there are other issues but you get...

Updated review May 2025: Forgot about the chips, and came back here.
I don't know why restaurants insist on advertising their chips as "fries" when they are clearly thick, steak-cut chips. Surely fries are going to be shoestring fries, right? Apparently not. When will I learn...
Got the Chew burger also. Everything in the burger was too thick (thick, bland patty, thick watery tomato, thick slabs of pickles) and carried no flavour of its own. It seems they have tried to over compensate by adding lots of sauces - tomato sauce, mustard and mayonnaise all on one burger. So much sauce! I wasn't a fan.
The other things I noticed was I couldn't smell the patties being grilled....which should have been a red flag but I didn't realise it until I had left.
It's a shame because the store is in such a prominent, family friendly area. They could do so well! But judging by the foot traffic, it looks like something's missing the mark.
They could set up a tasting feedback session with locals and find out...
Read moreI’ll keep this review short and sweet. Service was below average and staff looked disinterested, I had one customer in front of me and the person taking orders was too busy having a social chat as I waited for my turn. Eventually when I was served there was no friendliness, it was rather, Eat in or takeaway? Here or next door? As in the adjoining building. I bought the “Chew” which was nice, but nothing to rave on about. I’m actually wondering if the patty is even made on site. How do you have a “slow cooked” brisket that’s pink inside and minced? Makes no sense to the claim of the way their meat is prepared. The chilli chips were sagging with a few crunchy bits. There was little to no salt, it just tasted like powdered hot paprika. Lacks imagination and above all flavour. Even giving 2 stars is generous for this establishment. Eat if you are hungry, go...
