I been to this park couple of time and spend some good relaxing time here. It’s a nice big park with some kids zone facility in the park. Got some parking facilities as well but most of the time it’s busy cause the parking is also used by the local residents. You can bring you pets here for a walk and spend some good and quality time. Of course you have public toilets facilities which is a good help.

Large park in the inner north of Melbourne with a great variety of kids playground equipment to play on. Mostly suited to younger kids, it features layers of ramps and access points, with plenty to discover The (accessible) flying fox 🦊 and secure toddler play area are great bonuses too.

Kids and little kids playground, plenty of green areas. Half basketball court. Toilets, BBQ. My daughter and I spend good quality time there.

I grew up across from penders park and I'm so happy that my kids are also enjoying the park now. I've lived in the area for 42 years and I still see people flocking to the park in great numbers. It's just really nice that we have a lovely park in our area that can be enjoyed by everyone. My only negative point is that dogs are allowed off the leash. My youngest child is afraid off the dogs and usually ends up being more afraid because dogs keep jumping on her. The dogs are usually friendly but owners need to accept responsibility and try not to allow their dogs to invade children's space. Apart from this I am very happy with the park. I believe that the Darebin council should spend more money on the park. Our rates have increased so money should go back to the community. Maybe some soccer goals can be installed. Even if they are smaller than normal size n it doesn't need a big size area just a small patch . We need to have options for our kids . Unfortunately today kids keep to themselves n on the devices all day but I'm my day we kids all played together even if we didn't know each other but now parents are so afraid to let their kids mingle with other kids. Make the park a place that the community can...

Darebin council in their infinite wisdom decided to pull out an entire “old” fenced off playground for kids under 3 and replace it with…. Dirt patches. Not grass for picnics or a fenced off dog park, or another playground… just dirt. It’s been nothing but dirt for about 18months now.

The “new” playground is great but the trampolines are always full of water and the flying fox is constantly out of action. A fence around either the dog park or playground would be good as dogs from the nearby dog park are (understandably) constantly trying to get food from the BBQs and kids parties.

It’s generally not very well maintained and the grass is in really bad shape after a dry summer. This space has so much potential to be a mini Edinburgh Gardens but the council puts no resources into it aside from the initial playground upgrade they made a couple...

A large park that's has lots to do. Has two flying foxes, two in ground trampolines, rope climbing structures, normal swing, toddler swing and birds nest swings. a couple of slides, seasaw, sandpit that has trucks and diggers in it, balance things, merry go round, wheels you can spin, climbing frame, basketball court, heaps of undercover areas with tables and seats, drinking tap, tolites, BBQ, rubbish bins and lots of grass area for kids and...
