My family and I went here for Father’s Day this year, my dad was super keen to try Q Barbecue and had heard great reviews.

First off we had a booking for 6:45pm, our table wasn’t ready yet which resulted in us waiting outside till 7:15pm (not a huge issue happy to wait), we then were seated right in front of the live singer (photo attached) to the point we had to asked to be moved, the staff member moved us happily. Then the food comes out, due to being told on the phone there were 600+ people supposedly coming in throughout the day they only had the set menu available which we were fine with. Unfortunately for $49pp the platter we received was almost inedible, the chips were flavourless and tasted like oil, the beef rib was dry and tough we could barely cut through it but it was advertised as ‘16 hours smoked’, the chicken wings had no flavour, the sausages were covered in oil, the brisket was full of fat, the only tasteful thing on the platter was the pulled pork.

We also ordered a kids cheeseburger to which after he ate 3/4 of it we looked at it to realise it was severely undercooked, we are aware wagyu can be served rare but you should take into consideration that this meat is for kids. Mac & cheese served with the kids meal tasted like a bowl of flour too.

We were offered drinks on the house, not complaining but we weren’t sure why we were offered them we didn’t complain at this point and we had no explanation from the staff as to why we were receiving them - my guess is that the chefs cooked so much food in bulk and that resulted in the poor quality of food. It’s a shame as we were super eager to try your food and left feeling...

Great setup especially if you're after a really tasty, meaty and filling meal. The shop front looks kinda small but then there's "out the back" which is a nicely set up events type tent. There was plenty of space back here and the gas heaters really help to keep everyone comfy.

We were greeted by a friendly lady as we walked into the door and then again by the lady at the till. The floor staff were also really friendly, attentive and helpful. The only thing I would say is they got a bit mixed up with describing what dishes were arriving when serving our table. Might be because there are so many platters that look similar but it caused a bit of confusion when the food arrived. Other than that the food was amazing and there was more than enough of each of the platter. We also got sides but couldn't finish those.

My partner and I got the short rib platter which was definitely big. We got super full by the end. This is one of those place you go after you've saved your appetite for the event. The various meats were all cooked to perfection. The seasons / sauce was really nice and nothing was too sweet. The meat pulled off so easy from the short rib.

There was also crunchy fried chicken pieces that reminded me of Korean chicken - the meat is cooked SO well that your teeth melts through the meat after the crunchy coating. The onion rings are also super easy to recommend.

The live music was a nice touch too. Will definitely come back to check out something a little lighter - there are some salad options + some dessert menu items that I'd...

Attending this establishment feels akin to being a cherished guest at a family wedding, albeit one adorned with the enticing aroma of delectable BBQ fare. It undeniably stands out as a prime destination for satisfying your BBQ cravings. The culinary journey reached its zenith with the tantalizing Brisket and Cheese Springrolls, a culinary masterpiece that deserves an emphatic 👌.

The allure of the platters cannot be overstated; they offer a symphony of flavors and represent sensational value for the gastronomic experience they provide. During my celebratory birthday visit, the communal sharing of these platters proved to be a stroke of genius, creating an atmosphere of conviviality that heightened the overall enjoyment.

And then, there's the Snickers dessert—an experience that transcends mere sweetness. The combination of flavors in this dessert is nothing short of divine, eliciting an "OMFG" moment with every indulgent bite. It serves as the perfect crescendo to an already remarkable dining experience.

In conclusion, this establishment not only satisfies the palate with its delightful BBQ offerings but also elevates the entire dining experience to a level reminiscent of a joyous family celebration. From shared platters fostering camaraderie to the unforgettable Snickers dessert, each visit is a journey into culinary bliss.

In the spirit of constructive feedback, addressing and rectifying the issue of the leaking roof would undoubtedly enhance the dining ambiance and contribute to a more seamless and...
