Cicco's Woodfire Pizzeria offers an exceptional dining experience that blends authentic Italian flavors with a warm, inviting ambiance. From the moment you step through the doors, the cozy atmosphere created by the wood-fired oven and elegant décor sets the stage for a memorable meal.
The food at Cicco's is the true highlight, with the pizzas taking center stage. The thin, perfectly crust is a testament to the skill of the pizzaiolos, while the toppings are thoughtfully curated to create a harmonious flavor profile. I opted for the classic Margherita pizza, and it did not disappoint, with the fresh mozzarella, fragrant basil, and tangy tomato sauce coming together in a symphony of Italian deliciousness.
What sets Cicco's apart, however, is the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. The service is impeccable, with the wait staff being attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they are serving. They take the time to explain the menu, make recommendations, and ensure that each customer's experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Whether you're a pizza aficionado or simply someone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, a visit to Cicco's Woodfire Pizzeria is a must. The restaurant has managed to elevate the humble pizza into an art form, blending tradition, innovation, and a commitment to quality that is truly unparalleled. With its delicious food, warm ambiance, and exceptional service, Cicco's is sure to leave a lasting impression and have you...
Read moreTruly a local gem in Murrumbeena. Warm service, delicious pizza and pasta. Not to mention their house made tiramisu! We ordered: 🍕Italian Pork & Fennel Sausage pizza 🍝 Linguine Mare - linguine with prawns, mussels, clams, swordfish & calamari in San Marzano tomato sauce 🦑 Fried Calamari 🍄 Wild Mushroom Gnocchi 🥦 Broccolini, chilli & parmesan salad 🍰 House made Tiramisu 🥭 Coconut Mango Cheesecake
The Fried Calamari was great starter for us. It was served with some salad and tartare sauce.
We absolutely loved their wood-fired pizza!
Their linguine with mixed seafood was also delicious with nicely balanced tomato-based sauce. This was definitely my favourite dish of the night!
The wild mushrooms gnocchi was creamy and loaded with mushrooms flavours, particularly the porcini mushrooms. Yummy.
We all have to eat our veggies! But their broccolini chilli parmesan salad really would make it easier to eat your veggies! Simple yet deliciously cooked medley of broccolini and snow peas (sugar snap peas) with chillies and parmesan on top. Delish.
Our sweet end of the dinner was their house made Tiramisu. Not much to say, just deliciously made tiramisu!
If you like your cheesecakes on the thick and heavy side, their Coconut Mango Cheesecake would be your thing. I personally prefer a slightly lighter take on it.
They have a selection of wines, cocktails and beers for your enjoyment too, of course.
Aperol Spritz is a must order here
Highly...
Read moreI really enjoyed the food the first time I ate here and was looking forward to coming in again. Last night the restaurant was packed, so it was understandable that my boyfriend and I didn't get service very quickly. After 10 minutes, the waitress got our order of food and drinks. But we were still waiting for ages. I had to ask another waitress for our drinks. The drinks came but we were still waiting for the food. People were starting to leave and I could hear the kitchen packing up. The waitress who had served us, promptly walked out the door at the end of her shift. No one else had checked in on us. Half an hour before closing we decided it was not worth sticking around. My boyfriend went to the counter to say that we will pay for our drinks but will eat somewhere else. The waitress behind the counter stated that our order for some reason was not received by the kitchen. Someone from the kitchen offered to get it ready in 5 minutes. But to just wait 5 minutes only to be rushed out the door by 10pm was not worth it. Besides I was so annoyed by this point, I just wanted to leave. No apology was given (which I found quite rude) so we paid for our drinks and left.
I was really disappointed to not be able to eat here, but no gnocchi was worth such...
