Cookhouse Burgers Essendon — Restaurant in Melbourne

WARNING UPDATE based on owners reply: While pick up option is there, there was no indication that this was a virtual kitchen operated by cookhouse, only after we reached the location, confused, entered cookhouse, and asked if this is the place, then it realised what happened. I TOLD THE STAFF DURING PICKUP THAT THE WAY THEY SOLD IN UBER EATS WAS MISLEADING. If you are authentic ingredients, then just add the options in your own menu, why sell off as another restaurant? No issue with the taste, altough didn't feel like usual authentic korean burgers. Downgrading the stars to 1 star for misleading the customer in UberEats and no acknowledgement from the restaurant.

Warning! Be careful!! They run this as a GHOST/ VIRTUAL kitchens in Uber Eats. Ordered from "Seoul Town Korean Burgers and Wings" and selected Pickup. Basically CookHouse burgers selling their chicken burger as korean.

Food is alright, but selling as Korean is complete misleading and cheats. Thought we were ordering from Korean restaurant. When checking the address or Uber eats page, nowhere they mentioned its cookhouse burger.

I am not lying to you when I say that this place has the best burgers I have ever eaten. I grew up around food as my family used to own a pizza shop and my uncle is a chef, so I have always loved food. I love the complexities of it, and sometimes forget to appreciate the simplicities. Well, Cookhouse Burgers takes the simplicities of food in the form of a burger, chips and milkshake, and turns it into the most amazing, flavourful mix you’ll ever eat. Everything is fresh, hot, tasty. I needed comfort food, and my god did I get it. The service was phenomenal, and I value a good restaurant like this more than any fancy restaurant, because it shows that all you need is good service and great tasting food. I couldn’t ask for...

For a local burger joint, this one hit the spot. Dined in store and the spot was clean and comfortable.

We tried out their beef, chicken and vegan burgers all which were quite yum! I loved how they also have a bunless option which I got with my grilled tandoori chicken burger and is something I’ll definitely get again!

The beef burger was nice as well, you definitely get more of the bread which I didn’t mind. The vegan chicken schnitzel burger served in a beetroot bun was actually surprisingly good — for a vegan burger and someone who is not vegan, I would eat this again.

Also got sweet potato fries, their loaded fries (a popular item!) and fried wings for sides. All very well done...
