Cottle Coffee — Restaurant in Melbourne

An amazingly delicious coffee shop that’s been around for decades ever since my mother was young, I’ve recently been obsessed with this coffee shop & there coffee is always so hot & very strong with a rich creamy flavour, it’s so very tasty however I’m a tad bit disappointed on how small the coffee is I do wish it was much larger for me to enjoy much longer, the staff there are always very friendly but there still seems to be a wait even if it’s not busy they won’t take your order straight away but it’s fine since it always comes perfectly hot & fresh, they also have delicious fresh pastries & sandwiches that you must give a try with they’re cute corner section of tea tins & gifts, with the coziest...

I was a bit surprised by the lack of line walking into this cafe because it was great!

The staff were friendly, you could buy coffee from a wide range of different blends, they had coffee syrups and milk varieties, they sold food and high end luxury products such as coffee makers and Belgium Easter eggs and the layout had an amazing feel to it (with a place to wait at a table with a newspaper for takeaway coffees)!

The price was very affordable for my coffee that had a syrup and oat milk and the coffee to syrup mix was delicious. I would like the option for larger sizes and the oat milk to be a bit thicker, but I’ll...

Two people for lunch both ordering food, my meal came out, was eaten and finished long before someone shouted a 'wont be long' over the counter at us, as we sat waiting for the other meal. A little while later, we decided we didnt want to sit and wait anymore and cancelled the second meal. Would of been nice if they hadn't charged us for the coffee as an appology, but didnt seem overly concerned. Shame as we are local and eat out reguarly in south melbourne, considering the amount of cafes in the area to choose from, we wont be going back.
