I ordered the donuts and then after they took my credit card payment, they said oh by the way there is a surcharge for this order because it’s a public holiday. I respect that it’s a public holiday, but tell me before I pay, not after. There were no signs or anything to say there is a surcharge. When I questioned why it was more than the expected amount, initially the guy pretended he didn’t even know why. The guy serving was so rude after and went to talk and laugh with his colleague about it right in front of me. So rude and disrespectful. I'm so furious and let down by this wrong order plus one of the donuts were missing from Daniel's Donuts! Donna at Daniel's Donuts has been an amazing help to me this morning. I was in a hurry and in need of a class treat and she very kindly explained my options, choosing a beautiful selection of donuts for me to share with my students. She is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable and was even considerate enough to ask me about the student's allergies. I've never met someone so pleasant at 7am!
