DiCaprio Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Melbourne

Hubby and I arrived to order a pick up order and waited for over 10 minutes for someone to take our order even though they weren't busy, there was an older man on the coffee machine a young woman serving coffee, she was standing right next to us waiting for the older man to make coffee for other customers, there was a younger guy who looked at us numerous times and didn't even acknowledge us or even ask "have you been taken care of" nothing ! Then it was only when I said something to the older guy and the young girl (Who was just standing there) "is it possible to order?) So we ordered 2 chicken parmas and got home (2 minutes away) and started eating and the chicken was thin and burnt on the bottom you could taste the cheese only the chicken tasted like you where eating cardboard (tasteless) will not...

Usually when we go here, everything’s good, it’s calm and the foods always great. Yesterday night however was honestly.. well let’s just say not even my iron stomach of a partner wouldn’t eat all of the food. Me and my partner had the chicken parmigianas the classic ones. He was telling me that the chips tasted a lil weird and it felt like there was to MUCH taste of chicken but we left as that. Turns out it was actually half cooked and at 2,o’clock in the morning we were basically suffering badly from food poisoning. The waitress that served us (lovely lady) commented on how we didn’t each much but I just replied saying little bodies big food and she understood that much I didn’t want her to feel horrible about how the food...

Literally sitting in the restaurant and writing this review. Cannot get over how clean it is here. The cleanest restaurant I’ve seen in a very long time and I’ve been to so many from high end to mid. The toilets didn’t have a smell, the room was spotless and the sink was as though it’s cleaned after each use. The customer service is second to none, always greeted with kindness and professionalism, the conversation between staff is respectful and the food is clean. Doesn’t taste like it’s sitting in bulk production waiting to be heated and served. I write this review because a lot of these small family owned places are overlooked.
